Color Me Mine

We had a terrible experience, my 9 year old and I went to spend some quiet time pottery painting. They had a very large crowd from a party with much older children, the group were swearing and taking inappropriately. We did not enjoy our time and expressed our concerns to owner who did nothing. We Would never go back there. We prefer crocododle in Royal Oak. Items are reasonable priced and welcoming staff.

Went in today and the woman working there (I didn't catch her name - the black lady with glasses) was so nice and helpful! She explained everything clearly and well, and was so attentive and kind with helping us get paint colours and even changing our paint water. We had a great time and are so excited to see our projects!

Bad experience from the start. Booked a table reservation for my kids birthday party which is $70 for 6 kids which does not include the pottery pieces. We went in with 6 people and according to their website, prices start at $15-$28 for the pottery pieces. However when we got there they stated prices for pottery pieces are now starting at $40 and go up from there for each piece. I was budgeting about $90 for the 6 people according to THEIR website, however that soon changed to a minimum of $240 not including the table reservation fee. I asked how come the website states pieces start at $15. They had no answer….which is deceptive marketing. Do not recommend!!

Very good experience.... definitely enjoyed it but the light was super dark to see what you are doing .... In addition, I think the price is very expensive ... we painted only two small elements and paid around $100 ... they have an empty fridge ,they do not sell any snakes or coffee..paying that much money, I expected to have at least free coffe and some relaxing music. the girl that was there not bad but she is not nice as well and you need to ask her about everything... she won't say it by herself ...

Color Me Mine is a chain and I do understand that individuals own each location, but these stores do state that you can paint pieces and have them fired at another Color Me Mine location. I showed up at the Creekside location with my pieces in a Color Me Mine bag, full receipt, and tag with info in the pieces showing it was all from Color Me Mine and bought and paid for, but Creekside stated they charge an extra $10 per piece for Kiln Setup Fees" because they don't know their pieces? They are the same pieces sitting on your store shelves all from the same manufacturer and I know how kilns work and these get thrown in with everything else. There's no special setup. Other stores this was not the case. Looks like a cash grab."

Hosted my daughters 9th birthday party here.The staffs were super organized, friendly and a great help.I will definitely be coming back again to do more painting with my daughter.

I have been here multiple times and it is ALWAYS a fun time going here! There is lots of pieces to select from, the environment is very clean and comfortable, and the staff are very welcoming, friendly, helpful, competent, and knowledgeable! 100% would recommend this location! :)

Nice place with very friendly helpful staff. Expensive though. Been there several times over last several years. Returned very satisfied every time. Good for kids’ Birthday or a family activity.You select a piece to color. Staff helps you choose color. After colouring, you leave. They take about 5-7 days to bake your piece and make it ready for pickup.

My wife treated me to a pottery painting session at Color Me Mine and it was a great gift. I felt very relaxed and zen. The service was great and I'll definitely be visiting again soon.
