Local gem! Delicious burgers and frys. One of our go-to spots. Nothing beats The Burger Barn for local, fresh fast food". The staff are super friendly and the atmosphere in the restaurant is really cool and casual with nice large windows to watch the action on the street while you eat. Highly recommend!"

Wow! Wow, wow, wow!We don't go out to eat much, and when we do, we're usually pretty disappointed (I'm looking at you, Mr. Sub).Yesterday, my partner was craving a burger and didn't want to go to McDonald's (again), so he suggested we give Prospector Burger Barn a try. After being disappointed multiple times with other restaurants in T-Bay, I was hesitant but willing.I'm so happy we ate here!Burger Barn's menu is pretty simple. They only have something like eight or nine varieties of burger on their menu, a handful of different sides, and (if you order in-house) some of the best milkshakes I've ever tasted. This is, I think, one of the secrets to Burger Barn's success: you don't have to do everything...you only need to do a few things, and do them REALLY WELL.I would like to know whose decision it was that the cashier should call out TIPPER!" in response to those who tip (and the rest of the staff call back together with "THANK YOU!")

A damn good burger and really friendly service. Was in town for a short period of time and glad I stumbled across this place. I had the cheesy bacon and it had real CHEESE AND BACON! Cheese that actually resists being pulled apart - isn’t the same one on the nachos at the arena. The bun was also so thick and fresh, just a really tasty burger.

First time trying burger barn and it did not disappoint!! I had the spicy mother cluck and poutine…. Everything was delicious and the price is amazing! Will absolutely come back next time I’m in Thunder Bay! Thank you :)

Prospector Burger Barn
All I can say is wow.As someone from southern Ontario, this place is gold. The atmosphere, the food, the prices. Everything was amazing. This is definitely my new favourite spot in town.$27 for two meals plus drinks, a milkshake, and a $5 tip! You’d be paying much more for something like that anywhere else! Incredible! 10/10 must try!

Prospector Burger Barn
We have been looking for a good lunch spot with good prices. We have found that place. I have not seen service like that since I was a kid. You order your food at the front and they bring in to your table.The food is made to order and is just excellent. I honestly can't say enough nice things about this amazing restaurant.
