HIDES

I've purchased a few items from Hides over the last year or so, ever since they opened up in penn center. The products are all high quality, durable and fashionable. I'm a fan of leather, so I tend to do quite a bit of research prior to purchasing. There's no other leather store in the area of St. Catherine's, and I'm very excited that hides opened its doors here. I've purchased gloves, a card wallet, a duffel bag, and a hand bag. All items are aging well and keep looking better. Any time I'm in the airport with the duffel, I can always expect compliments. All in all, I'm a fan and very impressed with the quality of leather and the hardware.

WATCH OUT! This is the first time I've been scammed on the internet. The belt I received had a buckle that looked nothing like the illustration on their web site and probably came from a dollar store. I complained and they asked me to send them a picture which I did but have not heard from them since. According to Canada Post they received the return from me but there was no response to my request for a refund. I have complained to Visa about their fraudulent activity.

It is hard to find good leather these days that lasts. With my limited knowledge in leather, the gentleman at the time told me that all they sell is the top most quality of leather known as full grain or top grain leather; it truly shows as my wallet is aging so nicely! And not just that, I got my name engraved on it as well! GREAT BUY!

Great quality products!! I’ve now ordered three different things from Hides and all of them have exceeded expectations. I had an issue with my last order and they were so quick to respond and put a solution in place I was blown away, would definitely recommend.!!!

I bought a wallet from Hides Canada for my girlfriend as a gift. I put the order in a bit late, but after calling in, they pushed my wallet through custom engraving and shipped it so it arrived before the weekend. Great customer service, free custom engraving and, of course high quality leather products with a lifetime guarantee. I would recommend Hides Canada for all of your leather purchases.

I put in a custom order (knife roll) near the end of January for a birthday gift for Feb. 08. I was told it was not a problem. I followed up the week of and was told that the order was delayed for a week. I was told that since it's late, I could have a 10% refund. I called the following week (Wednesday) and went to pick up my item on Sunday and was told that it still wasn't in. The store didn't have the courtesy to call me to let me know that it wasn't in. I was offered a 10% refund. I returned the following Wednesday and the employee wasn't told about either of the refunds and the transaction took half an hour.I ended up with only a 10% refund for an item being delivered almost 2 weeks late and am pretty unhappy about how entire situation finished. I would have been fine if they had told me when I placed the order that they couldn't meet the requested date. Then, it would be my decision of whether I place the order or not. Obviously, customer service is not as important as making the sale. I sent an email on Feb. 23 to reinforce my complaint and I received no response. Although the finished product is fine, I will not be buying from Hides again.

Visited for the 1st time with tge family on a outing. The 2 staff were great with dealing with my brother who fell in love with a jacket. They sized him correctly and gave him all details and didnt hide any aspect positive or negative. Such as telling us the style jacket my brother bought is a lifetime warranty and the style he bought has been known for pocket tears but the warranty will cover any repairs. So good and the bad aspects, and theyre hoping of expanding to a bigger store space and have more selection which id personally like to see.
