Spent a night here on our way out west! We stayed in an unserviced site with fire pit. Sites had good privacy with pit toilet close by and comfort station for showers and laundry in the middle of the park. The park sites on a beautiful lake. The park also has a really nice day use area with lake access and picnic pavilion and children's park. We really enjoyed our visit!

Very clean park, nice day use area, water is crystal clear, easy hikes that you get children could easily do. Only downfall is that the lake is surrounded by private cottages whereas I prefer more of a secluded area for a provincial park.

So close to town. But honestly feels far away. It's such a nice Provincial park. The cleanliness of the facilities is the best I've seen yet.

René Brunelle Provincial Park
Had a waterfront site and each day would see a family of loons, a juvenile bald eagle, a heron. We saw foxes several times, and a big owl perched on a sign as we drove into the park after dark one evening. The beaches are nice.most sites are a good size and many had good privacy. We checked out the walk- in tent sites and they are incredible - each right on the waterfront with direct access to a sandy beach.

Very nicely taken care of park. Smaller than so.e of the other parks, but the sites were clean and private. On the far end the sites had waterfront access and beautiful sunsets over the lake.
