I wasn't sure what to expect on my first visit. I don't know much about woodworking or hardware, but everyone at Villeneuve L & Co was so friendly, patient, and helpful with all my questions. And the pricing is very fair. I left with everything I needed and will definitely be going back!

Usually higher prices than home depot, but definitely higher quality products, especially in lumber. The lumber yard is drive-in, and they have functioning equipment to cut boards to length, panels to size etc. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Their delivery service is professional and reliably scheduled.

Best lumber product of anywhere. There is no need to sort through to find the better pieces. Here, it's all the best lumber. Friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and experienced staff to answer all of your questions or to help you fund exactly what you need for your project. In the process of building my deck and Villeneuve L & Co. has made the process of purchasing wood so much easier, the customer service and product far exceeded my expectations. Quality of the cedar is far superior than the big box stores like Reno and Home Depot. Also, it's so nice to be able to call a local retailer and deal with your sales rep in person EVERY time you call. Dealing with Mike has been great, he's been patient and always able to answer my questions. Even the deliver guys are amazing, they helped unload the lumbar and carried it to my backyard. Thanks guys I've spread your name around numerous times already!

Literally just so much better than the CadTire across the street (which as it so happens is also one of the worst CadTires I've ever been to, but that's another story). In CadTire you wander around for an hour looking for someone to help you, and even when you find someone there's no guarantee they'll actually be familiar with what you're looking for. But here, there's like 4 people standing around the middle counters, who are all very helpful, friendly, and familiar with the entire store and their products. Also, most of the items I've looked at here turned out to actually be cheaper than at CadTire, so...

I love to go shopping at Villeneuve.it's the same old family oriented old tradition one on one customer service for as long I remember.Especially the lumber yard & wood that you could'nt find only by them.Thank you for keeping up this kind of service.

I've found them to be very helpful and in the past they have even searched through their stock for the best pieces (not warped or cracked) for me. In general their wood is better quality than other places, but they do not stock exotic types. I am using the wood for furniture so I do not have experience purchasing wood for framing. I would recommend this place.

Every time we have gone here the service has been excellent! Everyone is helpful when we have questions about the wood, the cutting service is great for doing quick DIY projects, and a generally solid selection of woods at a good price.

Great range of material, tools. They can cut it for you. I've been to build some shelves and the clerk really helped on choosing the best type of wood for my project. The prices are fair and it is very car friendly.
