We had such an interesting time here. I didn't realize it but the admission includes the guided tour so I suggest planning your visit so you can tag along. The guide was so impressive, knowledgeable and personable. Probably the best guide we encountered. If you get a chance, definitely do the tour. I believe there are 3 per day. Check out their website for times. There's also a cute little gift shop where you buy your admission tickets. Interesting history about this place and the people who worked there. What they endured was incredible.

Fascinating tour detailing a sometimes troubling period in Canadian history. Great for photographers. Some people feel a certain room is haunted. Nice lunch room and gift shop.

A connection to the realities of our past and how ethnically diverse communities worked together. The division of duties and associated remuneration not exactly equitable, but this is the reality of how we evolved as a culture and nation.Excellent restoration of artifacts and great tour by a well qualified and enthusiastic guide. Plan at least two hours to take the tour and explore this extensive facility.

Time your visit to coincide with a tour. Our guide was excellent and by the time we left we had a great appreciation for the history and conditions our forefathers experienced working in the canneries. Quiet off the beaten track place well worth the effort to get there. Best guide experience of my travels over the years.

Great free campground! Saw reviews about someone from the rustic campground harassing them for a fee but we didn’t experience that. Would stop here again! No services, but drop toilets on site and the river flows right along the campsite

The North Pacific Cannery has a lot of potential. They have definitely done some work to it over the last few years. The scenery is beautiful. The history is great. They do need to improve on the displaying and making it more engaging.Displays would be nice if they were era related (1910 building should not have a cardboard 200? Mandarin orange box. Another house had bottles of insecticide and rubbing alcohol behind the rope). We ate at the Mess Hall and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff member was interactive and very friendly. Gift shop staff member was also very friendly. As always for the past 20 some years, the model railroads/trains were a favourite!

Fun place, the tour guide was very informative, bit it also seems like she couldn't catch her breath. Learned a lot from this place, it's a nice historical place to visit.

The tour was very interesting. I learned several things about life at a cannery decades ago. The buildings and homes that you can tour bring it to life, and the tour guide tells you about what you are seeing. The gift shop was excellent; they sell hand made items by local artisans. They had lap quilts, knitted sweaters for children, soap, birch bowls, paintings, and much more.
