Our daughter started out at Facade about 9 months ago in the Portfolio Program, she truly enjoys her time there. Her artwork has always been good but with their support and teachings, her new techniques and creativity have taken her to a higher level. The staff is always willing and available to answer any questions, which is amazing. They are very supportive and encouraging as well, which really builds on the students' confidence and transcends into the artwork. There are so many different classes and opportunities there isn't enough time for everything. We are looking forward to the trip to Disney this summer, such an amazing opportunity! Since we have enrolled our daughter at Facade her art skills have blossomed. She is enjoying it very much and has gained experience from the exceptional teachers at the art school. She has been selected to attend the Disney experience at Walt Disney World and we are excited for her. Mina and her staff are wonderful people. We highly recommend this art school.

I had been a Facade student for over 3 years. I started in their animation program and then went into their portfolio program. During all classes the teachers always helped develop not only my technical skills but my creativity and overall confidence in my abilities. They continuously helped build my love for animation and art and kept me motivated and challenged me through the process. With the portfolios they helped me build I was able to get accepted into both programs I applied to. My dream was to get into the Sheridan animation program and I was able to accomplish that goal with hard work and their support. I’m grateful to Rob, Mina, and Vince who always created a friendly environment and pushed me to achieve my goals!

Facade Academy of the Arts has been a wonderful experience for my son. The team has supported our son’s passion for art while ensuring he learns fundamental skills in illustration, colour theory and exploring different mediums of art. The quality of instruction, feedback and curriculum that is designed around my son’s interest and goals is unique to Facade. I cannot thank Mina, Rob & Vince enough for the support and encouragement our son receives to pursue his passion in the arts and advance his skills.

I want to thank Mina and Rob and the team at Facade Academy for helping me get into film school. I have been a student in their film and media arts program for a few years and my skills have improved greatly. The skills and techniques I’ve been taught have been extremely beneficial. With their help, I created a professional portfolio and got accepted into my top choice school. I’m very grateful for everything I learned during my time at Facade.

My experience was amazing and I could not have done it without you. I cannot express how much I enjoyed my time at Façade Academy of the Arts! Not only did they help me create my post-secondary portfolio, but taught me skills I would have never acquired anywhere else. Their coaching both in class and at home, made the process a lot easier and fun. You can tell they are just as invested in achieving your goals as you are. I wouldn't be the artist I am today without Mina and her team's incredible guidance and commitment to helping me achieve my goals!

What a fantastic experience coming in to a new art school! Our first impression is extremely positive as we just joined and are looking to support my daughter's goals of becoming an artist. She is also really excited for the upcoming Disney trip and to participate in the creative workshops that are taught by the Disney team as an added experience of a lifetime that will benefit her art education and overall development!

My daughter has been at Facade for over 2 1/2 years. She started with an animation program , then fine arts and she has been in the Portfolio Program for the past year and a half. Even though Mina explains the program , the education, mentorship , guidance , professionalism and care surpassed all expectations. The whole team at Facade gets involved and mentors all their portfolio students. They build confidence and encourage the students creativity. The techniques and works of art that my daughter created and presented were amazing!!! Of course the student has to put in the work but the encouragement they get from the whole team drives them to keep going . The 2 portfolios that were put together and presented were very professional . She was accepted to both schools that she applied to . We thank Mina ,Vincent, Rob and the whole team at Facade for the mentoring of our young artist!!

The A.C.E program at Façade Academy is a teacher-led program that I had never experienced before, even from school. Before Façade Academy I had never really come out of my comfort zone from just drawing portraits and using pencil crayons and watercolours. Now, I’ve learned new techniques on how to paint with acrylics, perspective drawings, still life, sculpting, landscapes, etc. It’s very helpful when I have the teacher’s (Rob’s) guidance and assistance, they don’t hover over you enough that you feel you’re not doing anything right. They are also open to feedback and questions, and always there to assist you when needed.Mina has created a very organized and professional portfolio plan for me, with all of my projects and deadlines carefully planned out. Even though she has a lot of students to help, Mina always makes the time to email me back with helpful responses/critiques and does it in a quick fashion. Her guidance is very valuable and she helps me to recognize if I need to fix something with my project. I'm very impressed with the structure of the portfolio program and how the Façade team is able to coach so many of us.
