I have used this 3 generation family owned and operated business for the past 30 years. You can not go wrong using this shop for all of your transmission related problems. As far as I'm concerned, these guys will treat you right and stand behind their work, this is something rare in this industry today.

Ryan met and exceptionally exceeded my expectations! Not only was it the best quote, I was called when other issues were found and the best part, I was told what could wait as it isn’t urgent! As well, it was finish quicker than expected! That speaks volumes about the kind of business this is. I could easily go to a place closer (I live 3 hours away) and tell them exactly what to fix BUT I will be returning to Lo Cost (97 St NW) because of the customer service I received! Thank you for the excellent service today!

Lo-Cost Automatic Transmissions
Had the notorious f150 6r80 lead frame issue which left my truck in a no start condition, stuck on my driveway. Ford gave me an indefinite timeline for a new lead frame as they are on a huge backorder. Luckily Lo-cost had one and they did the repair within a couple of days. After getting my truck back, the sensor problems continued but Ron took my truck back the next day to replace the part again. Very thankful that they stand by their work and we’re able to sort out my problem quickly.

If I could select 0 stars I would have, as the level of unprofessionalism does not deserve any. I called them to ask a question and see if they could give me some advice or different options the person I spoke with was immediately rude and kept cutting me off before I had a chance to ask any questions. He then proceeded to tell me that he couldn’t help me (again before hearing what I was asking) and then hung up on me. He was extremely unprofessional and I will make sure to go out of my way to tell people to avoid this shop.

It's not very often that I would consider giving a stellar review for someone that just ruined my day with a $3500 repair estimate LOL....However, the professionalism and service that I received from Ryan at Lo-Cost on 97st was above and beyond.Hopefully I won't need to be a returning customer too often, but if I ever need transmission service again there is only one place I will go.Thanks to Ryan and team for your help.

If you want to get your vehicle fixed at a good price with great quality work then take it here! I recently just got a transmission put in and had the best customer service. Ryan is a all around great guy, easy to talk to, and quick at his job! Highly recommend coming here!

Ryan is an awesome dude! He really wants the best for his clients. I brought my car in for a transmission replacement but found out I still had warranty on my vehicle. Ryan let my vehicle stay at his shop over night while I sorted things out. He was really accommodating. He even helped me call and confirmed that I had coverage. Ryan remained very professional even though I didn't end up replacing my transmission with them. God forbid, but if I have future car problems I will definitely bring it to Low-Cost.
