Wolfe Island Bakery
I used to run across with my grandma when I was little to get a treat while waiting for the boat, now I have the pleasure of working there, in store you have sandwiches available along with an abundance of goodies that also appear at the market all hand made, even the sausage for the sausage rolls! We are currently understaffed and trying to make it back to market but currently are only on the island. Also they have the summer dock ripped up so you will have to go right from the winter dock to get to the main village.

The best bakery ever! Try the cherry tarts, mini pizzas, brownies, and lemon danish! The trip to Wolfe Island is so worth it - enjoy a treat on the beach a few kilometers from the bakery! Or visit them at the market in downtown Kingston at Springer Market Square! A must visit destination for a true taste of Kingston and the Islands.

I used to be the head baker in the old kingston store over 20 years ago. I had zero baking experience and was taught very well by the owner and the older lady on the Island. I'm sure she is long retired now. I stopped at the market in Kingston on Saturday I forgot how good the Red River Bread was. It was my idea to start making the pizza buns there( was told they would never last) glad to see over 20 years later they are still making them. I loved my job there.

Awesome surprise, best sausage roll I've had in a very, very long time! Veg samosa, sausage roll format, was excellent as well. Great place... particularly if you're waiting for the ferry. Very nice surprise.
