COBS Bread Bakery Kensington Square

A first time Cobs virgin, I am so stoked I decided to visit this morning and now love this joint!First of all... the heavenly smell when you walk in, especially since I made an early morning stop (which their opening times are awesome to grab a fresh Loaf for a wholesome breakfast) is literally incredible. Your wowed at the almost blinding golden crust everywhere whilst drooling like a dog. Their selection is great! All products made fresh with minimal and wholesome ingredients for a super yummy and fantastic grade product.The lady here literally made my day, super kind, approachable and upbeat. She offered to cut my Loaf for me and sliced regulard or thick. It was an absolute delight visiting this bakery this morning to he honest.I also love how Cobs gives back to the community through profits and their own initiatives, a great company is one that supports and allows other local businesses to leverage and thrive with them.Don't forget to donate to our local Burnaby halfway house for only a buck! Most awful experience at this Cobs location. They did not honor a valid Cobs coupon for a free loaf with the purchase of a package of scones. Not shopping here anymore and the cashier was rude.

Worst cobs bread experience ever. Cheese and herb bread does not have much cheese and the bread doesn’t rise properly, tastes awlful. Also the front girl attitude is bad. I will never go back to cobs bread in this location.

Stopped in for some bread tonight and the lady working was incredible! Impeccable customer service. She seemed to genuinely like her job and was happy I was there.

Taisted good. but I didn't get what I wanted cause I only had small amount of money and some items are pricier than others. my bf got the $4 cinnamon bun and I wanted a ham and cheese croissant. instead I had to get cheese bun. What happened to affordable prices???

Very nice and fresh bakery products, good customer service.

Bread is good and all but service is served with thick sliced attitude. Today the girl barely looked up and did not give a rat’s bun. She seemed to not want to be there and had aforementioned attitude. This is just one example. There are other Cobs with way better service but I won’t mention any like Seymour for example. So glad we recently bought a bread machine. Bye.

Great fresh bread and pastries. A little on the expensive side but everything they make is great.

Excellent service and exceptional quality... cinnamon buns with icing are amazing !!!

The employees are the sweetest. I was just helped by the girl with the brown curly hair in the ponytail and hat and she was so kind. I was getting pastries for my roommates and she was very considerate and helpful. This is my first time reviewing somewhere but just wanted to especially thank her for making my day! :)
