I took my BLS course with Ishan and was very pleased with how knowledgeable and professional Ishan was. He was able to explain concepts succinctly and provided reasoning behind why things are done in specific ways which I had never had explained before.I felt like I learned more in my one day with Ishan than I have in several other first aid courses combined. I recently attended a first aid course recertification with Life Preserver at their Burnaby location on May 07 and I have to say that I was thoroughly impressed. The instructor Ishan were extremely knowledgeable and approachable, making the learning experience engaging and enjoyable.The course was well-structured and covered a wide range of topics, from basic first aid procedures to more advanced techniques. The instructor provided hands-on training, which allowed us to practice and perfect our skills. The facilities were clean, well-maintained, and provided a comfortable learning environment.Overall, I highly recommend Life Preserver for their first aid courses. The quality of instruction and the professionalism of the staff exceeded my expectations. I had the Emergency Child Care course with Tim F. And the course was great and Tim was a great instructor.

I took the Emergency First Aid & CPR/AED course. 8 hours total, 4 hours online and 4 hours in person. It was easy to sign up using the website. The online component was easy to follow.The in-person component was taught by Surbhi, who is a physician and has worked in India and the UK. I really appreciated having an instructor who has had extensive experience performing the skills that were being taught in the course. She is clearly passionate about passing on important life-saving information, and was an engaging and efficient instructor despite having a rather sleepy class of five students. She also taught us how to handle scenarios when conditions aren't as they are depicted in first aid books (ie. what happens if a person is facedown? what if they are in a wheelchair?). The classroom and teaching materials (ie. the CPR manikins, desks, washrooms, printouts) were also good. I appreciated there were manikins of colour as well.In terms of the area, there are cafes (I recommend In the Moment Cafe and Kanadel Bakery in the next block) and lots of eateries in the area to grab a coffee/tea on the way, and for food during the lunch break.
