Not great.My family came here. Very clean place, expected because it’s brand new. Staff were okay. My grievances were with the food.I got the Tapa Silog, Pork Tocino Silog, and had some Liempo.Tapa Silog: 12.99. Got 8 pieces of very tough and chewy tapa. It tasted good but I couldn’t appreciate it because I had to bite into it 30 times before I could swallow the tapa. Portions were small. They didn’t ask me how I wanted my eggs.Tocino Silog: 11.99. 4 small pieces of cured meat. Also did not ask for how I wanted my eggs. As a Filipino, you know that rice to meat portions are KEY!Liempo: $5 per side order. And you’re looking at two orders of that in my photo. Lightly salted which I can appreciate. But tastes pretty bland.I also had a bite of Pancit. No flavour. Noodles over cooked and felt like mush.Overall, would not recommend this place to family or friends. Considering the prices, this place is pretty expensive for Filipino food. I’m driving an extra 5 minutes to Seafood City instead. Or, driving to Myrnas further away.I’m willing to give this place another shot as growing pains are inevitable. But for right now. It’s a HARD pass from me.

Pros : Restaurant is clean and new.Cons: Halo Halo for $7 is not worth it. The milk they used is like skim milk or watered down evaporated milk. Few ingredients and toppings. You can find a better tasting halo halo elsewhere. Bought also their buro and it was ok

We ordered Pork Binagoongan, Pancit and Sisig! All of them tasted soooo good! We also tried Kare-kare, Seafood Salpicao, Paksiw and Dinuguan. Will order again and again! Keep it up =)

They messed up mine and my Moms order 3 times, they first accidentally gave us the wrong persons order, then they gave my mom the wrong order when she clearly asked for something else and not what they gave her. They gave me cold pansit, and my mom something that did not look like what she ordered but apparently was the right food. All their filipino foods seem like rip offs of what the food actually is. I would not recommend going here it had bad service, bad food, and it just wasn't a good experience overall. 0/10 I do not recommend.

The best filipino restaurant in Winnipeg!

Went at their grand opening and didn’t feel like “grand” only few options for Ulam. You would thought they would show a “grand” feel and atmosphere but no, just felt the whole thing was underwhelming and not as prepared for a grand opening.Ordered Lauriat and out of the 5 options, they told me they only have Pork Liempo BBQ. Also tried ordering the Lumpiang Prito (3 pcs) and they told me it’s not available and to call tomorrow to see if it’s available.Their food presentation is not appetizing to look at. Their sisig looked sad, not even onions or red chilis for garnish.Lauriat $14.99 - the pancit canton only had very few noodles, mostly meat and veggies, tasted very bland.includesSiomai - dry and hard, feels like sitting on the steamer for quite a whileSesame balls - red bean inside is dry and the whole thing is underfried.Pork BBQ Liempo - the only thing that tasted good, but I still wouldn’t go back and crave for this. Only few little pieces.Lumpiang Sariwa (2 pcs) $8.99- tasted okay, sauce is good though. Pretty expensive for just two pieces.Their leche flan is so small and the edges look rough.Their prices seem to be more expensive than other Filipino restaurants.Would not recommend to family or friends, maybe I’ll try and give them another chance but not in the near future, I’m sure they’ll make room for improvements just like any other business.
