Bridge is dedicated to Sergeant Aubrey Cosens (Victoria Cross). The bridge is on Montreal River. Sgt. Aubrey Cosens VC was a Canadian posthumous recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces. He was born on May 21, 1921, Latchford, Canada. He won his VC in Battle of Normandy. Place of burial: Groesbeek Canadian War Cemetery, Groesbeek, Netherlands.
