Lasagne du Plateau

This is the best place in Montreal to have lasagna! You can certainly dine in but I think most of the business is a takeout business. I stop in once or twice a week to get my lasagna fix. I'd go more often but this restaurant is only open Wednesday Saturday. The owner has his own recipes and handles everything himself. I'm wildly pleased with each type of lasagna he makes. Definitely recommend him to anyone who loves lasagna the way that I do.

Price wise is reasonable but I don't understand why the reviews are saying it is good. I was really looking forward to trying but all I can say is the lasagna is watery and the pasta is soggy.I like lasagna a lot and this is far from good. Maybe some people enjoy soggy lasagna?

I had my 1st lasagna viande rose, it was divine; looking forward to trying every item on this menu, Bellisimo!

Really good lasagna. The pasta was especially nice, great consistency. Feels very homemade, only organic ingredients, no added industrial sauces. To top it all off, the owner is really great and kept up a great chat.

Delicious homemade lasagne. The family size is perfect for gatherings. The owner is extremely kind! We will definitely order again.

Just tried it last weekend. It was so delicious! I bought beef lasagna and végétarien one. I don't eat beef so I picked on vegetarien and didn't expect it would be good but I was totally wrong. My husband and daughter tried beef one and they love it. They even tried the vegetarian one and liked it too. Can't wait to go there again.

Let break it down for everybody,straight up, Super cool place, Super cool guy, Bruno, Reminds me as if we we’re in a Bronx tale ;). He made us 2 lasagna’s/Beef sauce and one Ravioli.It was amazing! Texture of lasagna was immaculate, tomato sauce wasn’t acidic, but perfect, like what you make at home, cheese, enough to melt in your mouth and finally, temperature, to perfection, enough for you to enjoy your meal. We we’re 3 people and every bite we were giving each other eye contact and agreeing to ultimate satisfaction. I have been looking for a nice and straightforward place to get lasagna in Montreal and I found it!!! Their lasagna is incredible! The tomato sauce is right on point, no need to excessively cover it with a thick layer of grated cheese, it's amazing as is! Portion size is perfect for takeout.

LDP lasagna is on point! If you like good marinara sauce and homemade pasta, LDP never disappoints. Excellent for parties, chalet events or when you are hosting an event and you do not want to do hours and hours of work but want your guests to be satisfied and impressed with the food. Vegetarian options available, our favourite is the vegetarian lasagna and eggplant parm (seasonal)! Whether you order a tray or a single portion, you can expect the same quality. LDP does not skip out. We have ordered from LDP for lunches of +20 people for work (pre-covid), chalet outings (10+ guests) or just grabbed lunch, every time LDP has delivered and have our friends going back on their own for more. A great plus, the owner is a great human and cares about his customers!Pro tip - Call them order ahead because they sell out often.

The best lasagna restaurant in Montreal! It was really tasty when we tried the meat one. The pasta was delicious (the texture was great). There is a vegetarian option as well. The restaurant offers take-out lasagna, as well as a few tables for eating in. The staff (owner?) were friendly and helpful! This is a place I highly recommend.
