Huish Outdoors

Awful. Poor customer service, impossible to find, no one answers the phones. I'm not even convinced this company actually exists. 0/10. Do not buy from them.

I have tried for a week to reach anyone at Oceanic (Huish Outdoors) via phone and e-mail and no one has replied. I tried calling every department at Oceanic and I can't even reach an operator. Every time I end up getting a message saying that due to high call volume, no one can take my call and I should leave a message. I have left several messages and have received no response. I am beginning to wonder if anyone works there anymore or if we are calling an empty building. This level of service is disgusting and as far as I'm concerned it's also illegal. I feel totally powerless and absolutely furious. I have paid thousands of dollars for a lot of Oceanic equipment and now I have two dive computers that are useless to me because there is no support. All of this non existent support appears to have started when Huish acquired Oceanic. I don't know what else to say and realize that ranting about it is probably not going to solve the problem so all that's left to say to anyone considering any product related to Huish is, don't buy it! I'm part of a very large scuba community and we are steering everyone away from Huish. Hopefully the drop in sales will lead to positive change. Really sad because there is a lot of very good equipment and good names that are being ruined by what is obviously greed or mind numbing mismanagement. I wish there was an option to give a zero star, review.

I found the staff at Huish to be awesome. Even when moving offices and clearly swamped they took the time to talk to me in depth and provided great service and a reasonable price. Don't know why others are having issues....the whole team there was great to deal with, from reception to sales to the service dept to the owner. They have my support.
