Barrie Free Methodist Church
Friendly people, and staff, who really try to include everyone. I have been to several Bible studies here on relevant topics to today's issues. They have a mops group for mothers of preschoolers. Mom's come and have a social time with other mothers while the babysitter's watch their children. During mops you eat a light snack, drink coffee, and discuss issues that mom's face. They also have crafts, and fun moms night out activities. The building and grounds are well maintained.

I'll be the first to admit, I'm no church goer. My family does have a gardening plot there, was in the area and stopped to water theirs along with the others. I have attended a service or few though and they are a great group of people even if it's not my thing. To be honest, I do miss helping out in the kitchen when I was asked as that is what I do professionally.

A great place to connect with people and learn more about God's love for us. This church serves the north end of Barrie with programs for all ages. Great nursery, children's programs and youth group. They also offer community programs such as Awana for children on Monday nights and GriefShare. A beautiful facility to rent for any event. Gymnatorium for playing sports or weddings or luncheons. Recent development across the street offers great after-service lunch spots!
