Horrible staff. RUDE. I was within my blood testing window that was explicitly written on the requisition form, and they wouldn't take me because I was too late". When I was double checking the time on my phone they mokingly asked if I was googling the time window.The corridor smelled of urine with intense cleaning products."

I went there 2 weeks ago, everyone was nice. About speaking their own language I don't care because I speak my own too. everyone is free to do what they wanted, all the ladies was kind.

I see a lot of negative reviews but I have only ever had positive experiences at this lab. The wait time is significantly shorter than the Lifelabs on Dufferin close by so it's much better if you're just looking to drop in somewhere without an appointment. They allow only 3 or 4 people in at once so it's quiet and relaxed.The nurses are friendly and have a good sense of humour. I sometimes faint when having blood drawn and I always remind them. They are conscientious about having me lay down, giving me time to recover and offering me a juice. I also have difficult veins and they take the time to get the veins to show. It's an experience I don't enjoy at all but I always come back to this location because they make me feel comfortable.

On saturday, April10th . 2021. I had to interact with 2 ladies at this lab. They were very unkind, rude and more then that they had a lack of humanity, empathy, respect and compassion.One of the employees with short hair and glasses greeted me with rudeness . Also reiterated that she did not have time to performed my test and the result was not going to be accurate because they did not have time complete the process for one of the bood test I had to get done due to a relapsed experienced after a surgery.She was so arrogant, treating me like trash,with disrespect. There was no professionalism there at all. Her tone of voice escalated as I was talkingto her... I hope that this review will be seeing by the management and they make the necesary corrections and their staff receive customer service training to stop their behavior and stop the cycle of rudeness behavior with patients like me that go there to get blood test performed so the staff in the lab can have clients and therefore receive a salary.Do not forget you work for the citizens of this country and we count and put our health in your hands,be kind, respectful and over all do not forget that you are a human beingand there is a God watching you ....the healthcare system needs improvements Asap !!!

Trust me. You do not want to go to this lab. I took my mom here and they talked talking in Tagalog ! With each other, because she forgot her health card. They keep talking and then I ask them, if they were gonna take my mom. They said yes. But they Keep talking “ I don’t know why their doctor allow this, they shouldn’t be going to the doctor without a health card” so I told them it’s okay if you can’t take her but if you are STOP talking s*** (in English) in front of me and my mom. (We are Vietnamese). But little did they know I’m not gonna let this slide. Because they are very rude to anyone who is not Filipino!!!! If I can choose I give NO STARS. We took the papers to Dufferin lab!

Staff is extremely rude, unprofessional, and they speak on their mother tongue. I accompanied a friend of the family to have blood work done I was appauld by the behavior of the staff. There was 3 of them working and all 3 of them ignored questions asked by patients, refusing to assist with TAKE A NUMBER " and how to operate it. The list goes on and on and on another patients family member said they contacted the head office and their supervisor and absolutely nothing was done. They are heartless group of ladies that just don't care and mock patients in their mother tongue because it was translated to me a few times my a lovely lady from their country. If you've ever been to this lab you will know what country and mother tongue I speak of

I went to this location Saturday April 9th 2022.I actually didn't end up doing my blood work there. As I walked upstairs I was beside myself and please tell me how is this place open to the public. The stairs, walls, elevator is so dirty and smells like urine. On top of it I got locked in on stairs because the door to ground floor does not open from the inside. Went back up to use elevator to get out of there the elevator barely works. I wouldn't dare do anything or recommend anyone do anything there do to health. You may just get contaminated with something just by being there. Please shut this place down.

First of all, the hallway smells like sewage. Next, it's in a very tight hallway, so you have no choice but to be around others. Next, they don't accept electronic requisitions. How, in this day and age of COVID and virtual appointments and doctors sending electronic documents do they not accept .pdfs of your requisition?! Makes no sense. Then, the lab technician refered me to go to a photo studio down the street that only takes USBs to print stuff. Waste of time. Go to Lifelabs down the street, they take online requisitions and make it very easy.

I completely agree with your experience. My bladder and kidney ultrasound has been done with a tech in there. She was very rough, got upset because I asked her to hurry to take me in it was getting harder to hold. Staffs are there do not make eye contact, do not greet, do not help elderly, I saw rude and unkind behaviour. Mostly, it has been 4 months my dr. has never received my test result. I wasted my time, put up with their nonsense behaviour, no test result. Today I have an appointment with my dr. I will ask her to order the same tests, go somewhere else. They still charged the OHIP. If I ad a choice I would give them no star.

Just to relate my experience with you, one of the employees with short hair and glasses greeted me with rudeness and discriminated me based on how I look. It was my first visit she was very judgemental towards me. She was so arrogant, treating me like a trash. There was no professionalism there at all. Her tone of voice escalated everytime I ask a question. I just ask about my test results and even though I asked her pleasantly, she gave me a very rough answer. I was discriminated and my right to information and consent was denied. Before I left the room she did a lot of rude words. I hope that this review will be read by many as a warning especially for newcomers who haven't been here yet and the management will do something about it so the cycle of rudeness will stop.
