Recently my family and I said goodbye to my mom. Torva Buckley, a very personal and empathetic director, guided us through the process of planning her celebration of life. She was always available to answer our questions and support us through this process. She was very sensitive during this sad time and helped us to make informed decisions. The ceremony included personal touches such baking items on display by her casket that my mom would have really liked. Thanks for all of your help.

From the planning the of the service to the after care. The staff are amazing and very caring. They went out of their way to show the guess support and understanding. Sabrina, Ron and kate were very emphatic to my family as well as the guess. They are really understand and the service was beautiful. They were amazing with my love one she looked like she did before she was sick, which made it easy to look at her as she was. I just wanted to extend my most sincere thanks to Torva, Kate and the staff at Oshawa Funeral Home. They took a horribly devastating time for me and my family and handled it with gentle grace and love. Torva was incredibly helpful to me and my family in planning everything out and Kate held a beautiful service. I had guests of my dad's service say it felt like Kate knew him. The care and complete respect of my husband began from the first phone call and continued right through to the final communication.
