Zana Day Spa

I booked 2 services over the holidays at Zana: a pedicure and manicure. The pedicure was worth the $100 I paid (with tip) - but the shellac manicure was absolutely not worth the $100 I paid (with tip).The girl who did my manicure was delightful, but the shellac and top coat used produced painfully amateur looking results. 4 of my nails have visible air bubbles in them and the ridges around the nail are all piece-y and jagged instead of clean and professional looking. I cannot believe I paid that much money for these nails. The place I go to in Vancouver charges legitimately half the price for 3x better quality of work. I will NEVER book here for a manicure again - they are out of their minds to charge that much for these results.

On Friday afternoon I had a facial with a wonderful aesthetician. I thoroughly enjoyed talking to her and absorbing the knowledge she had to share regarding my skin.What I did not enjoy, was the crazy and obnoxiously loud environment in which this spa is operating. As a client of Tetherwood, as well as Saint Ann’s, this left little to be desired from a relaxation standpoint. When you spend $160 on a facial you expect a level of Zen and relaxation. I did not get that in my visit on Friday. The staff walk around the hallways, talking extremely loud, they go up and down the stairs, sounding like elephants, and the music that the salon plays immediately below the rooms were facials are conducted can be heard Word for Word. While the aesthetician who worked on me was lovely the older gentleman working at the front desk did not attempt to ask me if I enjoyed my experience or ask me anything at all. I will not return to this spa. If you are looking for a relaxation and a quiet calming environment, this is not it.

This is my first time at this spa. I had booked a massage and they had booked my appointment for 10am. I know based on my previous experience I have to fill out a form, so I came 15 mins early. When I arrived the door was locked and the receptionist saw me but she was speaking to someone else so I waited thinking she was going to let me in after her conversation, after her conversation I was surprised that she just went on with her business, so I waited a little longer - freezing. So I looked on line and it says the spa opens at 10am and realized she was only going to let me in once it hits 10am. I was so looking forward to having a massage as I haven't gone in a long time but making a customer wait in the cold totally ruined it for me and I had to leave.If you open at 10 am and you will not let a customer in until right at 10am, you should not book an appointment right at 10am because more often than not a customer will come early especially if it is their first time because they know they have to fill out a form OR forewarn them and say our doors open right at 10am so pls come at 10am and no earlier.NOTE ADDED: I asked some of my friends/family thinking that maybe I was out to lunch to be so upset but most said what the receptionist should have done was let you in and say, we open at 10am but come in and have a seat and we will be with you shortly.

Hot stone massage experience was incredibly relaxing! One of the best massages I’ve ever had, very professional and courteous staff!

I've had my hair cut and coloured for years at this spa, along with aesthetic services. Carmen my 'go to' hair stylist/colourist is always friendly & welcoming. Every time I leave the salon with a smile on my face from the great experience and my hair feels & looks healthy. I really like the new colour she recommended this visit. I highly recommend her!

Zana Spa is lovely. Carmen has been my hairdresser for years- because she is consistently good at finding the right color and cut for me. Massage rooms are spotless and the masseuse is professional, friendly and is really skilled at finding the knots in my back. I had a gel manicure here for the first time today.My nails look lovely! You can't go wrong by choosing the services at this spa.

Fabulous!! I had a massage, facial, pedi and cut and style. The staff were knowledgeable and pleasant and I was super happy with the service and results. I will be coming back soon.

Zana Day Spa is by far the best spa around. Staff are extremely professional, friendly and very welcoming. The space is beautifully decorated, spacious and always very clean. Most importantly the service is top notch". I have been getting my hair styled

Carmen is an absolute miracle worker. I have gone to Carmen 3 times now and she does not disappoint. I am very into bright and fun color and Carmen does an absolute amazing job at any color I choose! Overall an amazing experience and I would highly recommend!

Just had a pedicure!! Wonderful!! Staff are excellent and the spa facilities clean and comfortable. I love my hairdresser!!! This pandemic set everything back but Zana has responded very professionally. Great to be going forward now!!
