Read the fine print. It does not guarantee you a job in the mining industry. Go spend 10 grand on a trucking license. You’ll have a better shot, and be more qualified. No job wants to hire entry level, nor do they look at NORCAT as a great asset. Some mines will even turn you down and hire the guy with out an underground common core. Once you graduate after spending $13,000 dollars, there’s no placement, they even tell you not to use them as a reference because they see so many people. Not mention my private information got breached during their hack last year. They didn’t tell me till a year later and offered me only a free credit monitoring which I already have! Complete waste.

Norcat is a cash grab people just want yo get in and out I just had to do the common core for the snellter sat there most of the day learning stuff we already know the trainer had to tell all his stories witch we all were just waiting to get out of ther I dread going to norcat

I did my working at heights training and was very impressed with the people, the facility and how well organized everything was. Larry was a fantastic trainer! He kept it interesting with many real life examples and stories. His experience in the industry is an asset as an instructor. All the equipment and tools on hand were of top quality and available to see and use. This made it much easier to understand how it all gets used in the field. Dan was also a pleasure to talk to in the main office, even though it wasn’t a part of the training. The whole experience was great and the day flew by. I would definitely recommend Norcat!

Modern place, great staff, awesome simulators

Did my working at heights at NORCAT and for an eight hours class, it didn't feel too long. My trainer was very professional, vibrant and funny. I must say that for an eight hour class, he surly kept the ball rolling. The class was very interesting and informative. I had an awesome trainer that knew how how to keep the class alive. GREAT JOB WALLY B!!!!!!

our instructor Walter Bilyj was educating us in enthusiastic manner with proper emphasis on safety hazards and correct procedures, and the group discussions helped in material retention. great learning
