Johnny’s on Oak Restaurant Vancouver (Best Neighbours Restaurant)
I had an amazing experience today at this restaurant. The food was just another level, OMG, so good!! I tried the shrimp tacos and Gosh, the salsa and the shrimp were so tasty. The Caesar salad and chicken was delicious, paired with good house white wine. Johnny and Conny made me feel like home, both are exceptional and allowed me to try one of their dessert made by them. I will highly recommend this place, it's just top notch! I'll be back soon!

Came for a late lunch, and was pleasantly surprised. Good service, kind staff. The food was good, the calamari was my favourite. When I asked for takeout, they didn’t have the cut of steak I wanted due to late delivery, so they offered a better one for the same price. Great!

Great food and warm; friendly neighborhood vibes!We live nearby and received a flyer that was nicely timed with our return home with our newborn.Being hungry, we loaded up the stroller and made a b-line for Johnny’s along with another couple, their stroller and baby. I mention our composition as Johnny’s is very welcoming to young families with strollers.We started with a Johnny’s Special pizza for the table and it was on point with a great crust.At the table for entrees were two roast lamb dinners, a moussaka and a lasagna dinner. Everyone’s food was tasty and filling.The service was very kind and warm and the vibe was most definitely care and welcoming.We will be back and this is our new go to!

I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was renovated and it looked great. Our server was friendly and efficient. The Calamari was excellent. I was surprised that it was such a large portion. Johnny's on Oak does not skimp on their portions. I had the baked spaghetti and my friend had the mousaka. We both had leftovers. We would go back for sure.

Food was delicious. We had the Gyro and pizza. The pizza was layered which was amazing and the service was great. Will definitely be back! 10/10 thank you to Johnny and all the staff for a great evening experience

Update: This family run business has now been passed down to the next generation. So Best Neighbours is now Johnny's. It's great to see some updates to the restaurant including the menu. Yet many of their classic dishes continue on. Prices have changed but portions are good.2017: True to its name, this is largely a local restaurant. There is a good selection of regular menu items including some Greek. Decent lunch prices and portions in a quiet setting. Street parking only. #letsguide

Disappointed with how their takeout/delivery was. Our order got super delayed and wrong items were sent. Burger was so dry and fries came half burnt and soggy. Would not order again especially for the price you pay
