I got a few quotes from different contractors but LeeValley had the best price. I explained to Mark what I envisioned (it's a two level deck and I was planning to modify the upper level to simplify the structure and eliminate extra columns) and we discussed a few details.The work was done quickly and professionally. We love our new deck and we are so happy with the final results. I would highly recommend him.

We needed to replace our deck and found LeeValley Carpentry on Google. The company had great reviews and the pictures on it with the work is what led us to Mark.Mark is everything you want in a carpenter. He is friendly, easy to communicate with, understands what you need and aims to give you what you want. He is honest in letting you know what can be done and has great suggestions which, in our case were better than our original plans.Mark is professional, has integrity and his workmanship is solid. He renovated our deck with composite and it is gorgeous! We are so happy and proud of the work he's done. We've enjoyed being out on the deck every day since! (We're also happy that we'll never have to stain the deck again!)Mark also made custom cabinets in our laundry room and outfitted the closet with a custom shelving system to organize everything from the vacuum, to the lightbulbs. We used Mark at the beginning of the Summer for a deck renovation - which amid the beginning of the season and a pandemic we thought may be impossible. We called for a quote, he showed up same day to measure and take a look at what we were wanting. He was very quick to provided us with two different quotes, adjusting to our budget and wants and started work within a week of signing! He was here everyday, rain or shine, kept the yard very clean and managed to finish the entire deck, railing and stairs in about a week - which for about +/-350 sq.ft of a deck was amazing. We are so happy with his quality of work and how fast everything was completed! We would [and have] recommended him to anyone looking to have work done.

We have a small backyard with a concrete pad, no lawn, and were looking to turn the space into something more inviting. Mark built a gorgeous cedar pergola for us, and we were so pleased with his work that we asked him to build a ground level deck. We did not know Mark but we took our chances on him to fix and resurface our deck with composite material after checking one of his references. From the very beginning his company stood out among several companies we contacted, due primarily to Mark’s professionalism in all he does and commits to do.From his work I could confirm that he is very seasoned. It helped a lot that he was able to fully understand what we wanted, and worked very hard even during the days when heat was at its peak this summer.
