great to visit if you are around toronto, the park is crossed by a road and you can choose to stop for a hike where you want.Beware of very many mosquitoes in the park, only problem for me

I always love going there. Saw a bull moose this time! Then, 5 minutes later, 2 cow moose! It was a great day trip. Had lunch at Two Rivers Restaurant. Great menu.

Every time we go cross-country skiing in Algonquin, it is beautiful. Best trails in South Ontario for family ski day.

Nature preserved the best way possible. It was mesmerizing to see the fall colors at its natural way. Recommended for a day trip from Toronto or nearby places.

Nice little stop on the 60. There is a small store and info center here as well as bathrooms. The bathrooms were decent. The parking was large enough to fit us pulling in an RV.Even though numerous meat heads parked in the middle of the trailer spots. Lots of open parking spots available for your little cars. Come on, use some sense.

Well maintained, facilitated. Even cellphone friendly at some area compare to years before, you would be totally cut off to the outside world once you're in the park. Great improvement.

Beautiful place!Scenic drive, amazing roads, easy to access. If you have a day pass then you don't have to check in at the access point, you can directly enter the park. The best thing I liked about this was the large information boards present, they have perfectly marked points for trails, campgrounds, restrooms, cafes etc. I didn't have to use the GPS once we were inside the park! Everything was so clearly written that we just had to stick to our park map!If you're lucky, you might see a moose as well!

This park is so big that you can get lost in it forever! Therefore, before you come here, you need to study the map and choose the place where you want to relax. The park is beautiful at any time of the year, but not all parts of it are accessible to the public, especially in winter.

Algonquin is well worth a camping trip,Views for days, small easy hikes as well as longer more difficult ones for a challenge so it caters to everyone.Winter is stunning - Snow, peace and quiet, and can be very cold!Spring, the park starts to wake up, Black-flies and Mosquitos start looking for a meal around May/June But might be one of the best time to see moose.Summer can be hot/humid, at times plenty of mosquitos, perfect for a paddle in the canoe, bike ride, all which you can rent from close by! Delivery to campsite/ a beach of your choice also available!Fall/Autumn you have all the colors you can imagine, driving and hiking the park will feel like a dream if you can time it right at the peak colors! HWY 60 can be a little busy this time of the year! All in all, the park, staff are awesome!Always keep a lookout for wildlife, Moose, Bear, a Wolf and many more if you are lucky enough!

This review is for the west gate entrance. Uninterested male staff/ranger at the front desk. Could not be bothered to Greet or say Hello or provide information on trails within the park. Handed me the map and pointed out the trails section. This was when there station was empty with no crowds whatsoever. If you purchased your day use pass online then there's no need to stop here.
