Highly recommend Rick with A1 Garage Door Service. This is the second time we’ve used Rick. He’s knowledgeable, friendly, on time and his prices are reasonable!

The first company I had out to fix my garage door claimed I needed all new parts (that would need to be ordered) and left with the door still inoperable. Rick from A-1 Garage Door Service came out on a Sunday and got it working again in an hour using in stock parts. He was very efficient and reasonably priced. I highly recommend A-1 Garage Door Service!

Amazing service and price! Same day service on a Saturday too! I had made Saturday appt with 716 garage repair service and the guy wanted to charge me $150 to screw back on garage bracket plate , I told him it was a rip off and no thanks! Called A-1 service and came on same day for $75 ! Put a new bracket on, oiled the door , fixed the light that hadn’t work for years and also fixed a bent wheel on the door! He was the owner not a company that sends out workers to rip u off! Thanks Rick I will def recommend your services !

I've used this company twice now and have had no issues whatsoever. Came out promptly both times and made repairs at a fair price. No complaints. I'll definitely use them again.

I've used A-1 Garage four times since buying my house over 10 years ago. I've had Rick come out and fix cables, replace the main spring, and install a new opener. Dude nails it every time. Ring him up, he answers. He calls back when he says he will and he arrives when he says he will. I've chatted with him here and there and he's a friendly dude overall. His services seem fairly priced (though I've never really compared, he was the first guy I contacted years ago when I needed a fix), but he's just straight up reliable. I've hired a number of contractors to fix, install, etc, all kinds of things in my home, but they're always late, lack proper/prompt communication, and frequently there's an issue I need to follow up on (and most of those jobs are considerably more expensive). Not with Rick. Rick gets the job done and done fast without breaking the bank. I hope he sticks around and keeps doing what he does because finding good help is hard. But Rick and A-1 Garage have your back!

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO CALL THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!! THIS IS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD!!! There is a single guy who owns this company. His name is Rick I called him to come out and look at the springs over my old wooden garage door. So he told me an hour,he actually was there early and beat me home from the store. That is about the only good thing he did. First off thank god my fiance was home when he came. Now I specifically told him that it was a old heavy wood garage door with windows. Well what do you know,he tries to lift it up from the Inside and puts his shoulder through one my windows. And to this point he didn't apologize to my fiance for breaking it. Now I show up to the house, and before he came I also told him I had purchased the springs. I was calling his company because I needed it done and I needed a company to do it. Well from the minute I showed up,he is being extremely rude and condescending to me about the springs. Saying to me how he shouldn't help me because I already had the springs. I had them attached to the rafters already and had the job half done. He even told me I did it right. Isn't that the point of calling a company when you cant do something yourself. Well he wasn't even there 20 minutes and he had one side done and was working on the other one. So I asked him about the broken window and he lied and said the garage door fell and it broke. So I told him that he would have to fix it because he broke it. And that I wouldn't pay him unless he fixed that to. Well then he started swearing, yelling and calling me all kinds of names and i felt threatened. He said that he would have to charge me to replace the window he broke. And that he was done with the job and not going to do anymore. At this point he started to blame me saying that the window must have been weak and that who cares about the window because your place is a wreck anyway. So he threw his stuff in his truck and pulled out. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone even my worst enemy. I have never in my life been treated like that. It was like something out of a movie. So I suggest you do not use this company at all. I am shocked that he get buisness the way he acts. His reviews online seem fake to me. Like his friend are doing him a favor I recommend you do yourself a favor and stay away!!!!.

Rick came to fix my broken garage door the same day, in a snow storm no less. He fixed it fast and for the lowest price out of the four places I called. We will be using A-1 garage door service in the future.

Called Rick at 8:30 this morning to have a garage door opener installed, he was here at 11:30, and was completely done by 1:00. He even put in light bulbs in the unit. I would highly recommend him to everyone. His pricing was great also. Ten stars for him.

Amazing service and very knowledgeable and quality work! Needed both of my garage doors springs fixed. Quick easy phone call. Came by and got them fixed very quickly and explained what he was doing and why. Extremely affordable! Highly recommend! Great job!

Great service. Showed up the same day and had the garage door spring fixed in an hour. He also used a heavier duty spring that should last many years. He also cleaned up and took the old parts away. Highly recommend.
