Shuya repaired my beloved leather Roots Handbag. The liner was ruined so he expertly replaced it with a new nicer quality material. He even sewed the Roots leather label back in. The craftsmanship was impeccable and I am sure this bag is now even more durable and will last a lifetime.

Replaced a zipper on my winter coat. Negotiated by email. I dropped it off and picked it up the next week. Painless. Very happy.

My 10-year-old winter jacket suddenly broke this winter and needed a new double zipper right away. I brought it to Shuya for a repair with 3 other clothes (2 pants with holes and a jacket with a broken zipper). He assessed the damage carefully and assured that he can fix them. Yanagi was very courteous and professional and so is his work. We’ve had long curtains shortened and they were perfect!! Him and his family are such a great privilege to be around in our beautiful little Historic Village!!!

Shuya took my beat up old piano bench and made it look brand new. It’s now reupholstered with extra padding so it looks great and is more comfortable too. He also repaired many pairs of my pants so they didn’t go to waste and the seams are stronger than ever. Highly recommend!
