One of my favourite spots in Nanoose! Great little walking trail down to a swim destination in the summertime. A number of benches create a peaceful atmosphere for a sunrise or tranquil evening.

May 8/2018. After you park,a short walk to the waters edge. The park has few benches for sitting. Many fantastic views to idle your time away.Mar13/2021.Google maps is not up to date on their picture on the street view maps. A nice sign depicting Brickyard Community Park is displayed at the entrance to the park.

After a short walk through the trees, where you can see scattered bricks and remains of the original brickyard, you come into view of gorgeously clear water, mountains, and rocky islands. We came to see the sea lions during herring spawn. While there were no fish, there were barking sea lions lounging on the islands. There was also a raft of them in the water circling and eating. Bring your binoculars. Great experience!

It's a beautiful spot, short walk to the water. A couple benches to sit and look out over the ocean. Just a tranquil little spot to relax.

Beautiful park, a short walk from the street parking you will be welcomed by the stunning view from the rocks. You can also venture down to the beach and enjoy a swim, or read a book on the beach.
