New Life Church

The service started with five songs which lasted well over 30 minutes, my friend said 46 minutes! The first three had the words projected for the congregation to follow then the two man band played another one followed by a final song. However, they were all played at a slow pace where nobody appeared to know the words and random lines thrown in. Either that or they were drowned out by the band because sitting at the back I couldn't hear anyone else sing although I saw a fair bit of arm waving. The worship leader (Barak?) seemed to be winging it as if it was his first time not knowing where bible verses came from, it's somewhere there". Actually it was his last as he was moving on to a full time job elsewhere. The preacher

Lots of creativity and freedom in their worship here. Many lovely families and caring pastors. The worship can go very long and there may be flags and tambourines at any given time, so you're prepared:)

Nearly a two hour service with no clear message or directionFirst 45 minutes was spent in worship where there were words shown on screen however the people leading the worship didn't bother following it and decided to sing their own words and in the order they chose meaning the AV person kept switching back and forth between slidesThe sermon had a person who decided to use words like superfluous but even admitted they didn't know what it meant and only liked it because of the word 'super' in it. He then went and called a woman in the congregation superfluous and insulted other members in the congregation calling them 'thorns' and 'thorny bushes'Even if I lived in Canada, definitely wouldn't go back again.

I have found the people at New Life love the Lord and really want to follow Him. And the new Pastor is really leading the church to know the Lord better.The worship is lovely, though sometimes the words on the screen aren’t quite right, but in all it touches heaven.The congregation has always been welcoming to me, and if I was looking for a church, I’d certainly visit New Life.

This church is fabulous!!! I definitely rate this 11/10! Rock up to this church to meet Jesus!!!! Also the Pastor is a cool dude and British, which is a great!!!! I totally recommend this place, so you should totally pay it a visit!

FANTASTIC church!!! For those who are looking for a church filled with life and love, their is no better place. The pastor is great and he teaches the true Gospel and not legalism. If you are looking for a place where you can belong, this is the place. They believe that a person needs to feel like they belong so that they can believe in God and His goodness.

After moving to Kelowna a few years ago our family were looking for a church to call home. New life Church welcomed us with open arms. There is a great balance of teaching of the word of God and of the Holy Spirt. It is very evident that New Life Church love and follow Jesus! The worship is really beautiful. Matty is an amazing pastor. Humble, patient and compassionate. He always takes the time to get to know his congregation and to help them understand the word. We have an amazing life group and leaders. The people are so warm, kind and caring. There is a desire to develop deep friendships and really walk through all seasons of life together. Thank you New Life Church we are so blessed to call this church our home and we are growing deeper in our relationship with Jesus each day.

If you want vague theology, extra biblical teachings, people rolling around like they're drunk and screaming like idiots than this is the place for you.In all seriousness, these are very kind, friendly people with absolutely no idea about what the Bible teaches. Worship lasts a long time which is great but they play questionable songs. If you want to feel good and have a good time then great. If you want to follow Jesus I suggest a real church. The teaching is about as deep as a puddle in the middle of August. Literally go anywhere else. Christ isn't here, I've looked.

Have only been here once but really enjoyed it will be back reminds me a bit of a church I went to in my youth. More then that seems people here really love the lord and make him a priority.
