Great place for ice cream. Staff has always been friendly & courteous. Apparently everything is made on site, from the cones to the ice cream.Today there were no cones, because the cone making machine is broken, but we don't mind.A lot of shopping options nearby in the Pendale Plaza, and across the street at the Pen Centre.Plenty of free parking, with some Tesla Destination Chargers (three Tesla plugs, and one J1772).I almost took a star away, because I cannot find anything here without added sugar, aside from the bottled water, and the nuts for ice cream toppings, but my son just spotted some bananas behind the counter!

I ordered a custom large photo cake for my husband’s 60th Birthday party from this store .When I went to pick it up I was very disappointed with the quality of the photo that was reproduced on the cake. The photo provided had a blue sky background. It was reproduced in Pink. This is not the quality I expected for a $63 custom cake.Of course by the time I picked it up, nothing could be done to fix this error.The lady who was working at the time, offered her apologies and asked if she could provide additional product to make situation better.Even though the cake tasted fine, it was not worth the additional cost to include a photo for this special occasion. I would hesitate to recommend others for purchasing such a cake from Marble Slab for any of their special occasions. I wrote the manager of this store about the disappointing custom cake, and at this point in time, I had not received a response from my email.This indicates this store can’t provide decent customer service. One would think an apology would be offered with either a complimentary cake or a gift card.Not impressed.

Ordered a chocolate peanut butter cup cake for father's day and it was very tasty. The cake decoration was good, except for the poorly written sign that should have been replaced. If possible, keeping premade or plastic signs on hand for staff may be useful for situations like this. Tasted good but a bit dissappointed

My daughter went for ice cream at this location this evening and was treated rudely when she asked for her ice cream to be mixed in a bowl as she has celiac disease. The lady in front of her also required her ice cream to be mixed in a bowl and the worker was pleasant, but when my daughter asked she was told that they only use the bowl when someone has a deathly allergy. Give me a break! How hard it it to use a bowl. It’s not like she was asking much.

The Chocolate Hazelnut Heaven (Nutella) cake is a fan favourite in this household for every special occasion. We always order from THIS location specifically (even though we have marble slabs closer to our home) because the quality of their product and service is much better than the other locations we have been to!

At around 8pm tonight my friends decided to grab ice cream after our dinner. We walk into the establishment, servers didn’t greet us or even bother to acknowledge us. As we were browsing their extensive selection of ice cream they proceeded to rush us, that made two of our friends hesitant of ordering, as we proceeded to order they rudely ask how we were gonna pay, mind you that our group was still deciding which ice cream they want, at this point we were just disappointed of the service. As we were finishing up our order another group (white individuals) walks in and the staff greeted them and gave them time to browse the selection. That just left us wondering why it was like that like was it because our group was mostly people of colour. Before this we were the only customers so why the rush where’s customer service.

The place is amazing a bit disappointed with the servers. Didn’t greet us, neither did they even smile once. This could be the best place if customer service is looked at.
