I have been dealing with this store for about 10 years, always received great service and terrific advise, recently purchased a large qty of paint, I received a great price and they included delivery right to my home, I would not go anywhere else to purchase paint or related supplies.

Horrible customer service, they seem to take stock of you immediately and decide if to be helpful. Guy ringing up my purchase could not have been more disinterested in doing so. No eye contact, smile or anything other than the mechanics of taking my debit payment, and getting back to the baseball game on tv behind him. Old guy just hung back like a master watching his apprentice, with no desire to create a positive experience, or invite me to come back. Two gentlemen who will never see me spend money or time there ever. These guys just have such jaw dropping apathy to the in person shopper, sad, because I want to support local and independent.

Just came back from visiting this store in downtown Brampton, very dissatisfied with the service provided. Very disappointed in the attitude of the person working there, we are 50 years residents of Brampton never had this kind of an experience. Have purchased many times at this store not experienced this kind of attitude.

I have been shopping at Harmsworth for paint and paint supplies for 30 years (and my parents did the same). Recently I purchased 4 gallons of Benjamin Moore paint from another BM dealer near my cottage. When I put the first coat on the walls, I realized I had made a poor colour choice. I called Harmsworth and told them my story and the fellow who answered the phone suggested I have this other dealer add a certain pigment to the mix. That dealer wouldn't add the extra colour for me, so I brought my 4 gallons home to Brampton and the team at Harmsworth added some more pigment to my existing paint to make it into the perfect neutral for my walls.They were vested in making sure I had the right colour and the right product ... just as they are every single time. Thanks Harmsworth family!!

I was trying to order paint over the phone today, the guy I was talking to was rude. Very passive aggressive. I was trying to use my amex card but they dont accept it. I wasn't informed that they don't take Amex transactions, so I told him I would call back and he just hung up without saying anything. So I didn't end up buying paint from this store. Don't think I ever will.

They do not keep much in stock. They have told me so many times that things are discontinued, or things that are needed are in short supply everywhere and they have none. Then I head to the other benjamin moore and everything is available on hand. I really was hoping to support my local benjamin moore. Obviously what they have is good. I'm not looking at shopping at multiple stops.
