Herring Cove Provincial Park Reserve
I usually go for sunset view and to see different colours in the sky. Nice trail to get to different spot and relax for a bit. Good to take some snack along with you and a water bottle on hot days.

Herring Cove Provincial Park Reserve
A wonderful place to spend time with family and friends, Great view of the Atlantic Ocean, and beautiful clean Rocky beach to sit down at. I went there in the evening and the ambience was quiet and peaceful. I saw only one person in the trail through, which might be said too less. No restrooms close by so that might be a problem.

Herring Cove Provincial Park Reserve
Amazing views of the Atlantic within a short drive from Halifax. Doesn't have beach, though can sit on the rocks to listen to the waves. Has a small roadside car park. Can also take a short trail along the woods by the side. Perfect to walk the dogs.

Beautiful place for a nice little hike or to just sit and listen to the ocean! A nice place to sit and relax. I have seen some people fishing and a few swimming, I personally would not swim here.

The place is absolutely beautiful. It has benches where you can sit and relax. The beach has stones all around. Might be slippery in snows. If you are taking bus to reach then you need to walk about 1km to reach here but it’s worth waking.

Herring Cove Provincial Park Reserve
It is a good place to sit and have a cup of coffee or just sit and appreciate the endless ocean. There is a trail as well if you want to explore the park. We sometimes go to watch sunrise and have our breakfast at Pavia Gallery(P.S. One of the best coffees in Halifax). A nice little outing in halifax.

A lovely place to spend the day at or do some moon watching at night. Added to this are the big boulders people can walk on and explore. What a beautiful sight when the waves hit the rocks.Evening it’s getting colder lightly in summer, and mosquitoes too
