Queenston Heights Park
A nice well maintained park with a view of the Niagara River. Place is peaceful during my visit. Restaurants and food park are closed this time of the month but will be open during summer and peak season.

Queenston Heights Park
Excellent park full of history, great views and access to the Bruce Trail. There is also a season restaurant located within the park. Well maintained and cared for by the city with trails that lead off the property and down to the Niagara River. There are lots of options whether it be a walk, family bbq or some relaxation in nature. There is plenty of parking on site however it is not free.

Known for its picturesque setting, rich history, and breathtaking views, the park offers visitors a memorable experience. One of the standout features of Queenston Heights Park is its natural beauty. Situated along the Niagara Escarpment, the park boasts lush greenery, well-manicured lawns, and vibrant flower gardens. The towering trees provide ample shade, creating a serene and peaceful atmosphere. The park's location near the Niagara River adds to its charm, offering visitors the chance to enjoy scenic views of the water.History enthusiasts will be delighted by the park's historical significance. Queenston Heights was a significant battleground during the War of 1812, and the park pays tribute to this important chapter in Canadian history. The Brock Monument, a majestic 56-meter tall column dedicated to Major General Sir Isaac Brock, stands as a prominent landmark in the park. Visitors can climb to the top of the monument for a panoramic view of the surrounding area, including the Niagara River and the United States. In addition to its natural beauty and historical significance, Queenston Heights Park provides several amenities for visitors. Absolutely beautiful park with great views. Picnic tables, good parking, and lots of stuff for the kids. It's also the southern end of the Bruce Trail. If you get a chance to climb Brock's Monument, do it!

We took the most fantastic walk around the Brock Monument today! It is definitely kept well clean for a spring day. I would recommend for all ages as their is a playground close by for kids and monuments of one of the greatest victorious battles of Canada to read and discover!

Queenston Heights Park
Queenston Heights Park is a historic park that sits on top of the Niagara Escarpment at the south end of Niagara-On-The-Lake. This is the site of the Battle of Queenston Heights during the war of 1812. The Park is beautiful and is characterized by huge trees and large maintained grass areas. There are 2 huge picnic pavilions, tennis courts, a splash pad, an amphitheater, washrooms, a children's playground, picnic tables, a general store, and many gardens and trails both paved and natural. This park is also home to the Landscape of Nations memorial, and the Brock monument and tower. Also on site is the Queenston Heights restaurant which features fine dining. The park also contains the southern terminus of the Bruce Trail.Whether you're looking for the perfect spot for a family picnic, a hike through beautiful natural landscapes, or to step back in time and visit the historic monuments, this is the place.Weekends in the summer on fair weather days can be busy for picnics. There is lots of paid on-site parking. Picnic pavilions and BBQs must be reserved in advance (check the Niagara Parks website for pricing and availability as well as restrictions during covid 19).

The restaurant at Queenston Heights Park is a wonderful place to enjoy a delicious meal with a stunning view of the Niagara River and the local vineyards. We went for their award-winning Sunday brunch with a variety of dishes to suit every taste. The service is friendly and attentive, and the ambiance is cozy and elegant. The restaurant is located in a historic building that dates back to 1900, surrounded by beautiful parkland and trails. It is a great spot to celebrate a special occasion or just relax and enjoy the scenery.

Perfect for a BBQ or a picnic. Just bring your own charcoal and food. They can accommodate events of small and large. Clean public washrooms. Wonderful historical and casual walking or running. Plenty of park space to play sports. It is paid parking but it is at a fair price.
