Rio Terrace School

I am a student here and this schools current principal has been unsupportive to families with children on the autism spectrum. My family is one of these and we can’t have a program here? No, apparently the park is much more important, teachers and other staff members are very polite and supportive, but there’s no program, not to forget the strange priorities and them refusing that autistic children study here. New parents, coming from a student who has been here for 6 years, do not bring your child if they have learning struggles. Edit: I forgot to mention the unsupportive environment to any LGBTQ students or faculty members. No promoun acceptance or anything. The strange rules and hypocritical principal announcements.

Our daughter is in Grade 4 German Bilingual. ***note we DO NOT speak German at home***We love this school. The teachers all care so much about the kids and work with you to ensure your child is getting the best education possible.The music program is second to none, an amazing teacher who instills a love of music and drama into the kids!

Nice elementary school

My son is in his second year at Rio Terrace. His first year was last year in kindergarten and the teacher was amazing. M. Karissa goes above and beyond when it comes to teaching. With any issues to do with the school directly, the principal Mr. Lummis it's extremely Hands-On and always very quick to respond to any inquiries or concerns a parent might have. I highly recommend the school due to the awesome people who work there .
