Nurse Next Door Home Care Services - Winnipeg

I been working with Nurse next door for a couple months or so now. Every visit with clients is enjoyable, the management is so great , they take time to listen and if you need help they are always available. Clients always talk about how amazing this company is and how much they love that it’s here. Great work Thats being done at Nurse next door , thank you to the management team and everyone that’s behind it. :)

I hired this service for a friend with dementia to provide meal care, housekeeping, and medication dispensing. Generally, the staff were quite good though most were not familiar with caring for someone with dementia nor did they get any formal training from Nurse Next Door based on conversations I had with them. Turnover in staff was frequent and occasionally shifts were cancelled with little notice. There was a single incident where my friend became quite agitated and grabbed one of the staff and scared (but did not hurt) her. All of my services were immediately revoked by the management team without any consultation. I was out of town at the time, making it a very stressful situation. I had to lean on other friends to step in with no notice to care for my friend to keep him fed and safe until I could get back to town. Six days later, Nurse Next Door contacted me with a new plan to look after my friend using only male support staff. SIX DAYS LATER. I simply don't understand how a care company can revoke all care without a Plan B for the family. Unconscionable! I would not recommend this company.

The coordinators are communicative and flexible. The companions are kind and engaging with my loved one. The only thing to improve is that the companion was changed a number of times at the beginning of our time with Nurse Next Door. This service has been a great help to m5 family!

Nurse next door is an amazing place to work. Everyone at this office and in the field are so supportive and like an extended family.

Very poor and disappointing experience. Buyer beware as they say. I had made notes regarding pricing for 2 nights and passed the pricing on to the family members who needed it. When I received the billing the amount was $18/hr more than what I was quoted for the first night as it was deemed urgent care". This was not expressed to me in the intake conversation and it was a very specific question. Interestingly

NND are very caring, accommodating, and thorough. I highly recommend them.

I can’t thank Nurse Next Door in Winnipeg enough for the most excellent and heartfelt care that they gave to my mother during the pandemic when she fell and hurt herself in her apartment. The staff was amazing and helped my mom with all of her needs. Truly appreciate the level of service we received ❤️. Thank you to everyone who helped my mom Betty.

Would never recommend. Obviously they prey on the elderly.Engaged them to change an arm dressing till Homecare kicked in. Supposed to droo off contract--never happened. Gave them my CC#. MJSTAKE!W VISITS. ONE JUST UNDER AN HR AND ONE LESS THAN THAT. CC got chrged for 300 dollars. No invoice- no paperwork. Was told wnd visit would be cheaper. Not. SCAMMERS

I want to thanks the wonderful staff at Nurse Next Door for all their help when I was very sick in May of this year. I had around the clock health care until I started to get better. I met a wonderful lady who still helps me every second Saturday. I wold highly recommend this company for helping in my recovery. Thanks June
