We loved this place. Is it 5 star? No. Is the location beautiful and are the rooms clean? Yes. Add in the pool and the hot tub and it’s a great little hotel. Breakfast was OK but hard to argue with free

Not only is this place absolutely filthy, but they're also willing to do whatever they need to do in order to not give out a refund.The room we got had cracked and missing tiles. The carpet wasn't measured right and didn't reach to the broken and missing tile section, and was just sitting on top of the underlay (which was cut even worse), so there were large gaps between the carpet and the bare floor.Our towels were visibly dirty.There were hugs crawling around on the toilet paper.Our door wouldn't shut properly, and the front desk said their machine that makes the keycards was broken, so we would have to go to the front desk anytime we wanted in or out of our room.Despite all that, they refused to provide a refund, saying the manager wasn't in but would call us the next day. They refused to provide a manager's name. Just very obviously giving people the runaround, as I've seen this same thing posted in other reviews.I don't expect much from a cheap place to stay, but I do expect to not be staying in a room that looks like it's in the middle of renovations, and I would hope a place at least makes it look like they made an effort to clean the room and wash the sheets and towels.If you're reading this, you're better off booking somewhere else for a wide variety of reasons, including that this place is probably a complaint or two away from being shut down for health violations. Don't waste your time.

The rooms were really clean. The hotel was right on the road we were taking. The front counter people were very helpful and kind. The view was amazing.There was only 2 regular coffee packs and 1 decaf. No vending machines, hardly any services around, but we were on the edge of town. A can of coke is $3.00

The parking lot needs resurfacing, the sidewalk needs to be upgraded to not being a tripping zone. Our room needed a thorough cleaning, wearing white socks for 5 minutes on the carpeted floor, they were black. Makes you wonder about the blankets on the beds. Rooms are the same price as much better spots, and there is no cleaning at all nor a discount for extended stays. The stairwells need repair and a good painting outside. I think the owners are just going to let this beautiful spot, and once lovely hotel are simply going to let it fall apart until it is too expensive" to repair. It is just a shame how they have let it go."

Had the worst experience at the Riverland Inn suites. Not only our room was not clean, there was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom.We were also woken up to bugs (silverfish) in our bed. Room 102.We went to check out and told them and all they said was “sorry.. I can only give you $20 off.” He even stated he will put a “discount” for the next time we stay there and we said no, we will never be coming back.They did not seem to care at all about the cleanliness or about our concerns.You can also hear everything. You heard the people in the above suite and then anyone walking down the stairs/outside.Our bed were also not comfy and extremely rock hard. When we also pulled up there were dirty mattresses all thrown outside and just left there.We will never be staying there again.

Excellent little place on the river with very plesent helpfully staff. I will never stay anywhere else in kamloops. I did read a bunch of reviews about this place, after I checked in, but my room is clean, nice view, everything you need. New bedding, new carpet. Dated shower and toilet, but they both do what they are suppose to.

It worked for us and our larger than average family size of six. Otherwise it was kind of run down; definitely not a prime experience if that is what you need. They do have a pool and basic breakfast buffet.

We are staying here right now!! So dirty!! No towels in the room. By that I mean one face cloth. One hand towel. And one shower towel. No bath mats. Just an old towel. No plug for the bath tub!!! The price gouge u. Then don’t want u to use up any water. Pool area was disgusting! Hot tub peeling. So many bubbles. Looked like someone added soap to it. No hot water. Barely warm water.Tv was unplugged and took forever to boot up.Nice front desk lady. But that’s not enough to cut it. Gross and disappointing!! Had to give one start to make a review.Bad thing is I paid for two nights and this is day one.

The room was nice enough but we were lied to about bed size. These beds are doubles.. not queens yet they charge for queens. The woman at the front desk was less than helpful. Honestly the last straw on a stressful day. My husband and I are 6 feet tall and were quite crammed and uncomfortable here.
