Lots of parking, well groomed fields great for soccer and other sports, covered picnic tables, sand area for kids with aluminum water works and sprinklers! They have some portable washrooms but with the calibre of this park they need to upgrade to some permanent washrooms. There is also no trees to provide shade on hot sunny days.

Was there for Country Fest. Decent selection of food vendors, there was a beer garden close to the stage and some neat attractions...horses, llamas

Went for the 2022 Carribean Festival. Parking was easy and plentiful, the grounds were set up nicely to accommodate all the tents and food trucks.

Would have been a lovely weekend, Nov 4-6 2022, even with the rain, Except for the young beaver who decided to make a dam and flood 80% of the park. Still a great place with good facilities. But...that beaver may need a new how!

Dog friendly, kid friendly, and adult friendly. The facilities are aging, but adequate. When there for the recent Caribbean festival, cooling stations (canopies for shade, with misting nozzles providing refreshing mist) and water bottle refill areas were available. Much appreciated on hot summer days. There is an off leash dog park, with some shade, but not really enough. However, my dog adores it. There is a pleasant walk from the south parking area, which is quite large. There is a stream to view wildlife, frequently visited by great blue herons. A pleasant area!

It is a good sports complex with a nice but small playground for children waiting or needing to wear off energy. Favourite way though was rolling down a small green hill. I feel sorry for the people living in the neighborhood because they did poor planning on how so many people would get in/out and this was a small event, it's nuts with the larger ones. The people walking across the road rather than going walking half a block further down didn't help either.

Given that it is free admission, the Maple Ridge Fair aka CountryFest is a celebration of agriculture, youthful farmers and community. 4H clubs proliferate in the barns, locally grown produce and made crafts and arts fill the space.A food truck filled midway and a diverse set of hawkers along with local groups makes for quaint yet busy fairgrounds.

This is a great addition to the neighborhood. The fairgrounds is vast and gives you lots of area to walk, jog, run. I see lots of people exercising or walking there pets. The summer offers festivals with live music, food and beer gardens. There is lots of parking and bathrooms.
