Assiniboine Credit Union Head Office (No branch or ATM available)

Today, i went to this brench location for a matter re. e transfer. The teller was not helpful at alll, she crossed her legs and told me that u dont have to make an appointment to close ur account but just talk to dealer. I told her I need another bank to transfer my account, first! Today was the first time the bank let me down, when I needed them. I got the proper help from lost/stolen card member branch, as member service was not answering calls. That is why, I ended up at the bank in the first place.

I am visually impaired... Today I did my banking here and it was an humiliating experience. There is nothing set for vission impaired clients, cavernous building, I was lost with out any assistance except for a teller yelling at me across the lobby over here over here thats right turn left there you go" I felt like my neighbor's pet. Yeah got my banking done with a little difficulty and then leaving the teller yells at me so the whole bank can hear AGAIN "go left! go left" Good Grief... this location need some helful markers and a knowledgeable/trained staff.#humiliated"

I have been with Assiniboine for 14 years and normally don't have issues with any of the branches I go to.I had gone in today to deposit 2 cheques in which I have deposited before in the past. The teller was investigating my account to see if the cheque form this company was deposited before. I asked if there was an issue in regards to these cheques. He said he couldn't find the company that issued the cheque on my account and that he would need to put it on a hold. I told him that it shouldn't be on a hold as I've deposited from this company in the past. He went on and spoke to his supervisor, who also went into my account to investigate. 10-15 minutes later, she had come and apologized for the wait and approved the deposit with no hold. The teller had asked if I would like any cash back and I said no, as I don't normally like to carry cash with me.I went to make a transaction as that is the reason why I went to make the deposit in the first place, to find out that my card had declined. I called ACU over the phone to find out if they did in fact put a hold on the cheque anyway. Turns out they did, and the branch was closed so the rep was unable to lift the hold and that I would have to contact them in the morning.Extremely disappointed with the service from this branch and will avoid them in the future.

Had to go to a branch to speak with an actual human. Went to the one on Harrow yesterday to find it is now permanently closed. I went to the Main Street branch today at 2:30pm (because Google and their website said it was open til 4:30pm) to find after I trudged through the snow to pay for parking…CLOSED as well. I am closing my accounts ASAP. Joke

One of the busier locations so there is often a bit of a wait, but the tellers are efficient. Better rates than you'll find at any of the banks, and their online division (Outlook Financial) is great too.

My daughter has been banking with these horrendous jokers and nothing but problems. She has been calling for 2 months now to try and have a replacement bank card sent out. No idea if calls ever make it to a real live person in Winnipeg or continental North America for that matter! After filling all requests and consistently calling and speaking to whatever is on the other line nothing happens. So if there is an actual human being that lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba CANADA! Or if anyone knows of an actual legitimate phone number to speak to a human at an actual branch and not an off shore call center then hey maybe help out!

I went to the St. James branch to withdraw 5k from my account I was questioned what the money was for and when I told them it was none of their business I was treated rudely by the staff, they told me I could withdraw only 3k. Because of their poor customer service I missed out on a great opportunity. I was vey upset and questioned their policy and they threatened to call the police. I have been a customer for 45 years and have never been treated this poorly. I will be in contact with my lawyer.

I recently met with Adam Wishnowski to consolidate my debt. I went in feeling nervous and embarrassed about my debt situation and left wishing I had met with him months ago. He was very reassuring, non-judgemental and extremely helpful. I left with most of my debt consolidated, a plan for the rest of the debt and feeling SO much more confident about my financial situation. 10/10 would recommend Adam to friends and family.

About the now called MBNA credit card. Super aggressive and rude customer service. Insists on closing my account for not paying bill of $72 after 6 months when i never knew about the balance. Have been a customer for almost 4 years. Told her i didn't receive any warning letter and was willing to the pay the balance immediately but she refused. Don't know what you guys are smoking cause this is totally unfair and unacceptable.

Due to not finding parking, I was almost 40 minutes late. I called to say that I was still coming and they kept my appointment. The service was excellent and we are very happy with the rates for our RRSPS.Ask ahead of time about where the underground parking is.
