Can't say enough good stuff about this shop. Classic boards from all eras hanging on the walls. A snowboarders dream to see the culture alive and well and not forgetting its roots.Great selection of soft and hard goods, can get kitted head to toe here. Also carrying some great high end snowboards that tailor to all abilities but providing you with a solid board not your regular run of the mill setup.lastly the repair shop, run by Lars, a man that knows the ins and outs of board shapes, manufacturing and construction. This is the guy you want handling your equipment. I came in with an absolutely thrashed Amplid that was likely meant for the bin after getting torn up at Kicking Horse. Lars took the time to break down the real damage, fixes and what was possible. Board looks and rides like its brand new now!!!Thanks for the help and good chatter Lars.I'll be sure to stop by next time I'm in town.

Fantastic experience. My son ordered boots and bindings over the phone. We live in Ontario and Megan, who was so great in helping him set up express shipping and placing his order made everything simple. This is the second time ordering from Edge of the World and won’t be the last. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Super friendly staff and just a historic place to visit if you’re into Snowboarding! Great product offering and we even participated in the Annual Rock paper scissors competition which was hilarious!

Great selection of snowboards and very friendly & knowledgeable staff. Every time I visit Fernie I get my boards tuned up here. Fast and top notch service! Highly recommend to drop by if you're in need of a tune up. Also always nice to just pop in for a chat about gear and boards on off days.

I bought a new board from edge of the world last month while on a trip to Fernie from Manitoba. My old board was the wrong size for me and was pretty beat up. I only had a bit of an idea of what I wanted but other than that I was clueless. Sara asked me a ton of great questions, offered a few different options at different price points and was overall extremely helpful. I got on the mountain the next day and had one of my best days snowboarding ever, they nailed exactly what I wanted in a board. So glad I stopped in at this shop while I was out there!

This shop is awesome. The people who work there are always amazing. Very friendly, knowledgable, and super helpful. Last time I was in I mentioned how I was having trouble with some bindings and, even though I didn't even buy the bindings at their store, they still offered to take a look at them, and then fixed me up in no time. They didn't even ask for payment for their time - I just paid for a part. I should have at least tipped the guy or something, looking back. I don't think I trust anyone with my gear the way I would them! :P

Found this gem today when looking for a place to get board tuned and bindings adjusted! Blown away by all 3 staff we interacted with. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful! Went out of their way to make sure my son's board worked for him. Great selection of boards and everything needed to hit the mountain!
