English Expansion

I am so happy I was able to meet with English Expansion. My sons have learned so much in the classes. Their lessons were engaging and useful. The teachers are very patient and always encouraging students to try. They provides both a great mix of listening, speaking and practical learning activities and a very safe, supportive learning environment. I would highly recommend them to anyone interested in learning there.

I registered my son at English Expansion to improve his essay writing and communication skills. He found it very easy to follow and learn from the teacher he had. He was in a group but felt the teacher took the time to teach him at his pace as well. Not only did it help him in his English courses, it also helped him in other courses that involved writing. As a parent, I was very pleased to see the improvements he showed in his writing abilities and I would highly recommend English Expansion to any of my family and friends.

Elisha is an excellent teacher who is tender and strict at the same time. Also, she is willed to help afterschool. I really appreciate the help she gave and I benefit from her class a lot.

As a former IB student and current University graduate student, I found English Expansion extremely helpful not just for my courses but also exams such as the SAT. The tutors here are very well trained and the office is very organized.I highly recommend English Expansion!

My son and daughter had been studied for English expansion since 2015. Teachers are very patient, nice and knowledge. My children improved a lot in English. I also introduced this program to my friends and their children also joined the program. Kids love it and we can see they improve a lot in English. I’m glad that we find a good place to study. Thanks all the teachers. I want to share this to all the parents and hope their children can join this program.

Great teacher

I was registered with English Expansion in middle school for three years, to learn formal writing. I'm currently in my first year of university, and I still use the notes and examples from my English Expansion classes all the time - the lessons really helped establish a strong writing foundation and the instructor, Elisha, is amazing with helping fine-tune students' writing. For proof of my testament: I have been a consistent 96% English student all throughout high school, and scored 90% on the 2016 English 12 Provincial Exam. I attribute this largely to the strong base skills that English Expansion has helped me build.I cannot recommend English Expansion enough - they are phenomenal, professional, and ultimately give good results (see above).

Elisha's English Expansion class for me as an international student really improved my writing skills. She uses distinctive ways to really help students know more about different aspects of good writings such as peer editing where student effectively learn from each other's mistake and progress forward together. With Elisha's helpful and really patient teaching, I scored 90% on the BC English 12 Provincial Exam(June 2019) and 89% in school. I recommend anyone, especially Chinese International students to join this class. It is a decision that they will never regret.
