There are so many books here that one ought take their time while looking. In fact it is not a bad idea to continually visit this bookstore as one never knows what gems they may find.I have purchased many reasonably priced, and rare children's books for my friends and dear ones, and have also marvelled at the expansive 'Canadian' section.Go look at books, but don't rush, and bring an apple or a coffee for the bookstore attendee.Some books will be accepted for store credit, if you are interested in recycling or getting a buck or two off of your next great find!

I love this book store. It's like an explosion of books. Books rise up to the ceiling and cover every surface. The owner can seem a little grumpy or unfriendly at first... but he is the ultimate reader. He knows his stock and his customers but more importantly he knows and loves books. He has created a haven for book lovers. Keep in mind though - it's cash only. So come prepared.

Could spend hours there. It's pretty well organized considering how many books are in there. Just remember to bring cash as they don't take cards. However they held my box of books while a went to the bank machine. Super friendly and helpful, but at the same time not at all pestering so you can browse peacefully.

The staff was quite rude to both my daughter and myself, pity because we were both laden with Christmas money and seen many books we were ready to buy. It was almost like they did not want to part with any of their stock. The one lady asked me what I wanted then once I found the book took it from me and placed it back on the shelf. I will not be returning!

Huge selection in great shape. Didn't like that almost all hardcovers were automatically $9.95/each. Go for the selection.

Honestly this place is amazing! I'm a book lover and this place caught my eye on the way to school one day, finally got to go in yesterday and I'm blown away! The gentleman that was running the desk was very kind and helpful! You could spend a while day in this place and still never see everything he has to offer. I found both new and old books side by side, got an amazing set of graphic novels while there for next to nothing compared to places like indigo! Super happy with my first visit and looking forward to visiting again! P.s. cash only!

Sunrise, and Robert, are great... more than 5 star - a full selection of all the regular books and series, and a wealth of off-beat titles, backed up by superior literary and trade knowledge. Most highly recommended!

The owners seem to know their inventory pretty well, which is good because the organization of their wares is somewhat haphazard. Prices are average to high. Pretty much every square inch is devoted to books, so if you're patient you can probably find something.

First and foremost you should know this place is cash only. It always has been, and always will be.This place has the largest collection of used books in Guelph! It is absolutely incredible what you can find here!
