A great array of clothing and gear for the outdoors, without MEC's membership requirement. Staff is always pleasant.My only issue is that when you search store availability of specific items through the website, the stock levels at this location aren't available. You either need to call the store, or make a trip in, in order to see if something is in stock in a particular size or color. A minor quibble, but convenience is motivating. I've ordered online rather than go to the store when I didn't want the hassle of another physical errand.

Not my first choice in terms of outdoor gear and apparel. Visit MEC for better gear selection (and arguably quality). Atmosphere Masonville’s attraction is location.

Went to Masonville today looking for waterproof shoes, great selection just didn’t have right ones in my size however I was helped by Nelson who provided wonderful customer service even though he was extremely busy with a number of customers he went above and beyond thank you!

I had a great experience there, i went in looking to buy a new winter jacket and gloves. I had a very nice older gentleman help me find everything i needed if i recall name was Dennis. The best part was they had the North face jacket i wanted in stock and it was on for half price!

Somewhat friendly staff. Not overly helpful ... but was better and very knowledgeable when I tracked them down. The outdoor equipment - i.e... waterproof containers for kayaking- very good.

Poor Customer Service.I spoke to one sale staff; I am looking for shoes I can walk in water. He told me what code on the labels to look for, and he walk away.I spoke to another sale staff for light weight waterproof pants. He provided information, I thought he was referring me to another store. Nope, he was reffing to a bland they carried.Neither of them had knowledge about being outside in the rain.I budget $500 on new out gear, which I could easily spent there. I will be going somewhere else.

Waited 20 minutes for someone to help me with getting show sizes for boots, went to ask for help from someone else and was told there would be someone coming, but no one came. It was a waste of time.
