Gen is not only extremely talented but so, so kind! She was very accommodating when our family photoshoot had to be cancelled due to illness and even more accommodating when I contacted her the same day it was re-booked to see if she could fit me in. She has a great attention to detail making sure everything is perfect. On set she’s great at noticing things that need to be touched up or modified. Gen is as kind and warm and she is talented!I came in anxious and nervous about having my makeup professionally done, and she talked me through everything she was doing, and made me a part of the process. I never felt like I was being pushed into looking a certain way, and the end result still looked like me- but better!I really appreciated the extra time and care she took to make sure I not only looked great, but felt so as well.She even helped fix my hair when it wouldn’t cooperate on camera.An extremely positive experience that changed how I feel about having my makeup professionally done.10/10 Gen. I used Waring Makeup for my wedding in Sept. Gen works with the photographer we chose, Laura Jasmine, a lot so it just made sense to go with her. We did a trial which was such a great idea so I could get to know Gen and have the chance to make changes to my initial vision. Gen is SUPER talented and full of great advice (especially for someone like me who doesn’t know makeup well). She’s also very fun and down to earth. We scheduled a portrait shoot with Laura the day of my makeup trial - what a great idea! I would highly recommend hiring Waring Makeup!

Gen is an amazing makeup artist, my experience with her has always been pleasant and so much fun! She is skilled at doing many different styles, I have gotten natural glam done for a professional photo shoot and some more extravagant makeup done by her and all were fantastic.
