Brought my 34' CHB Trawler in to repair the teak decks. Not only did they repair the wood but also the fiberglass underneath. My boat looks awesome. Commodores crew were super easy to work with. These guys sure know Boats!Great job guys..

Well in this case, the reviews are spot on!!Ryan was very amenable and able to handle my request like a breeze. These guys seem to be the type of boat repair shop you hear about, but seldom see. My jet engine was kind of cantilevered off of the stern in an extended way such that the struts holding the stern upright were being pulled off the floor of the boat taking the hull where it was attached to with it and causing bilateral tears in the hull and water leakage. Commodore Boats were able to fix the tears and repair and reinforce the struts to industrial grade on budget and on time. Just tested it over 10 km on slightly choppy water and everything is strong as can be. Also, I had them put on kevlar stripping on the keel for those times when I need to slide over river sandbars that can get in the way - also on time and within budget. Thanks to Ryan and Brendan for the good work!

Commodore's Boats did a major up grade project on my 41' Steel Hull Trawler in 2017/2018.List of the Major Projects-Tube and Bow Thruster install-Additional Exterior Pilot House Access Door-Tender Davit and Motorcycle Storage Rack System-Loading Crane install-Underwater Swim Deck lighting-Repaint of Hull, Deck and Pilot House-Upgrades to Teak Interior (modify cabinets to install new upright fridge, new synthetic teak and holly flooring). Refurbish water damaged Teak Pilot House ceiling.-LED lighting upgradesBo, Ryan were very accommodating and organized. They have a good selection of experienced trades people to cover what is required.I would also like to mention that Commodore's stands behind the work they do. Their was a problem with the Underwater lighting install that could not be rectified until the boat was hauled out. Due to circumstances this was two years later and in the US. Commodores fully covered the cost to repair the lighting. I will be using them again and recommend them to anyone in need of their Services.

Overall the work done to my floathome was good. I wasn’t expecting to have to do floats, but after pulling my house out of the water it was pretty clear it couldn’t go back in without a lot of work.It started with a miscalculation of weight by the lift operator from Shelter Island. Due to that the initial set of floats weren’t enough to properly float my house. Unfortunately it took several tries to get it floating level after, which meant a lot more money.Work quality - excellent, they know what they’re doing when it comes to welding.Communication - was good, but I had to do a lot of follow ups. I will acknowledge they are busy, which shows they do good work.Quotes - I understand things change, but some of the quotes were quite a bit off.Again overall they treated me well, did quality work but there were minor issues to which I can’t give them a 5 star review.However, I would have work done by them again and would send people I know to them.
