This is one of the worst registries ever. The guy there isn't too bad. The woman is horrible. I've been to this location a few times. This lady absolutely loves to make things difficult. Rude and nasty. It really surprises me that this place has a 3 star rating. Go to Hinton

Cedric and Susie were very professional and helpful in a setting that was obviously very busy. Their pleasant care and attention was greatly appreciated with several visits we have recently had for both personal and business needs. Thank You Both for Your time and Above Bar service!

Birth certificate form said 7-10 days. They told me 4 to 6 weeks. If I didnt get it by then call them and they would figure it out. No problem. Didnt get it. Called them. We just send the paperwork after that we have nothing to do with it" I got mildly feisty so they connected me to a number that would help me out. It help me be on hold for 20 mins then I got disconnected without speaking to anyone. Ive missed out on works because of this and cant get a health card to get a doctor as I have extensive injuries from when the card was originally stolen from me. Zero stars"

Just tried calling and because I asked, can I talk to your supervisor or manager" as this guy was talking over me ignoring me and threatening me with my registration

The woman here is the least knowledgeable person here, rude, completely unhelpful and clearly not knowledgeable at all.I asked for a temporary disabilty placard for my visiting mother in law and she said I needed to get a doctor's note. She also insisted the disabled person must come in.But this is incorrect, it literally says from the Alberta registry FAQ that someone known to the disabled person or the person themselves can come in and request one. She said I have no idea where you got this information" and I said the government website and showed it to her face

Very Good Service!! When it comes to Registry, Cedric the helpful man is like a google that lead us to the answer to every question. Me and my husband got always a take out answers from Driving Information through Marriage Information. Thank you for working as a Front Liner!

went in to register a car i had shipped from ab to bc to buy thru dealership (never registered there and always registered in alberta). I was told it needs a out-of-province inspection because the selling agent is from bc. The requirements are clearly stated on alberta websites that the province of registration is what makes the inspection necessary and i said this to registry agent. she was very confident that what would be a dumb policy was correct. Went to registry in Hinton and no problems. Their lack of knowledge cost me 2 hrs of my time and $30 in fuel. Had i believed them, id be out the cost and time of an out of province inspection.If they acknowledge this and apologize i will take down this review

Walk in to 2 people working" no one being served. Get told need an appointment cause they're too busy for a 5 to 10 minuet service

I called ahead to ask about what was needed to switch my license from Alberta to BC. While on the phone they told me what was needed and I mentioned I would be coming that Friday as I had the day off. We ended the conversation and I drove all the way there (2 hours) only for them to tell me I now need to make an appointment due to covid.Are you kidding me? Why wouldn’t this be something mentioned on our initial conversation on the phone. Poorly run place.

Everytime I have transactions done in the registry,It was always smooth and well organized. From the telephone booking to the personal visit, it was great. All the staff are accommodating and very helpful. I would also like to commend Mr. Maniquis for always extending his help whenever I have queries and provide a lot of information that was very helpful.More power to all of you!
