Qoqó:lem Park

Beautiful uphill hiking trail. The city is going to have to stay on top of it though, in some sections the good old blackberries are narrowing the trail.

Really nice short hiking area just 10 minutes from the highway with picnic areas and views of the river and valley below. You'll have to do a little bit of walking to get to the first areas with tables but it's not far and before the 70 some switchbacks that take you further up the mountain to a cleared site with more picnic tables, benches and even a toilet. The trails are all gravelled and reasonably wide with only a few little sections where the gravel and steepness can get slippery but I reckon that over time that will get better. Be on the lookout for wildlife, there are plenty of cool animals to be seen with the occasional bear or cougar also wandering though.
