This probably what happenned to me as well. I moved to a new place and the owner hired his company to clean the carpets. Although they are not cleaned at all and had a really bad smell.

I had my carpet cleaned and the water line going to the vacuum head blew. It dumped water everywhere, there was so much water it was running through the vents into the basement making huge puddles all over the place. I left the cleaner on his own and when I came back to check after he was done this is what I found. I had to call and complain before he came back hours later. All the water brought dirt stains up and made the carpet smell horrible. There was no discount, no lower price, the owner contacted me for payment awhile later. I paid the guy there and she didn’t check to see if I paid, just wanted her money. I will never use this service again.
