Chalets Diane

We stayed for a long weekend with 2 other couples. The cabin was very clean and spacious. I cannot say enough good things about the owners. They were so nice!!!, they took us out to fish and for a shore lunch on their own boat. I enjoyed myself so much I went back for the moose hunt in October.

Findining a good place for a nice get away is like fishing! Sometimes you get a good one and other times you don't. Well, we landed the big one by staying at Chalets Diane. We had an amazing time and caught lots of fish. The new owners are amazing people and try to look after all their guests. Their prices are very resonable and the entire area is breath taking. I highly recommend this place.

I was debating only putting 4stars, because of the walleye fishing.But in retrospect, this was a new lake for us, with two cold fronts back to back during the week...Finding the walleye was difficult!But the Smallmouth fishing was incredible ( average is 2.5 lbs)The site is easy to get to, but just far enough from the road that you don’t hear the vehicles. We stayed in the Fish Hut cabin 2 couples. Small but cosy and well appointed.( the only 2 things with this cabin is the stove top has only 2 partially working burners, and as it had rained a lot, the septic system was a bit smelly)But you could not have more attentive owners. Friendly and outgoing- they wanna make sure that your stay is very enjoyable.My son rented one of their boats ( a 14’ Fiberglass with a 4 stoke 15 hp ) swivel seats, sonar and battery. Very nice.Docks in front of every cabin , and a nice big covered porch on every cabins.Try slip bobbers with a jig and leach cast over structure and enjoy your stay!

This was our second stay at Chalets Diane and we really love it here. Nancy and Darryl are excellent hosts, the accommodations are clean and have everything you need. We love paddling on the lake and listening to the loons call when we are by the fire. Looking forward to our next stay!

We always have the best time at Chalets Diane. It has become our home away from home.Nancy and Daryl do everything to make sure you enjoy your time. The cabins are beautiful.The fishing on this lake is amazing.. could barely get your line back in before another fish was biting.

I visited Chalet Diane for the first time June 2019, I was instantly impressed with the beautiful, up to date cottages and the friendly, professionalism of the new owners. Daryl and Nancy ! Whatever we needed was there for us to make our stay as comfortable as possible. So comfortable in fact that I was back 2 more times last year with friends and family! The fishing on Lake Kipawa is second to none and with the assistance of there Guide James we had many fresh fish fry’s.Chalet Diane also offers Moose and small game hunts, although I wasn’t successful myself , a group of 2 fathers with there sons harvested a nice young bull while I was there! The partridge and grouse hunting is phenomenal Chalet Diane has access to approximately 400 acres of prime hunting territory and I am already booked for 2020.

Nancy and Daryl made my vacation better than I imagined. Very cozy cabins and very helpful and friendly. I already booked my next stay and can’t wait for moose season. Thanks guys.

I have spent many summers fishing at Chalets Diane and really enjoyed this past summer. The new owners Nancy and Daryl have done an out standing job to make my stay more enjoyable. They thought of everything. The upgrades are fabulous. The banana bread was great. I expect a loaf this time.

I stayed at Chalets Diane in June 2020 with a bunch of my buddies. You will not find better owners than Nancy & Daryl. On arrival they both greeted our party, showed us around the cabin, the fish cleaning room, where the bait was kept, the party room with the spectacular view of Lake Kilauea and gave us maps and some really good fishing spots!!!The cabins are equipped with everything you need, including a TV, wi-fi, towels and even a bottle of hand sanitizer, a flash light and bug spray!The fishing is out of this world and Daryl and Nancy make you very comfortable and welcomed! They really make your entire stay a lot fun and they let you know from check-in to check-out how much they appreciate your business.Their prices are extremely reasonable and we have already booked again in August and will be back in 2021.Best Outfitters/cabin & boat rental place I’ve ever stayed at!
