Doria Salon Spa

Ive been here a few times now. My curly haircuts from Maria have been great. Ive also been getting laser with Cindy, their laser is very quick and less painful than other lasers I've experienced. Bit too early to tell long term laser results but it seems promising. I was sceptical of getting laser done at an all in one salon but their machine is the real deal.

This salon is very conveniently located on 64th and 152nd street intersection in a plaza. Enough parkingThe space of the salon is big and there is everything under one roof like Skin care, hair services, nail salon and a spa massage. Its very clean and aesthetically pleasing.My hair stylist sher took her time on my consultation appointment and made sure that I understand the whole process. She was even sweet to squeeze me in her schedule the very next day for early morning appointment.Had great experience with the whole perm treatment. The process was long but the conversation with sher , made it go by quickly. Amazing result and brilliant service. We also Bought gold plated chain n locket from them which is so beautiful. You can also get a professional nail job with their nail technician.

*My appointment was with Stephenie*For my first appointment with Stephenie, she went over what we could do with my hair. It was a colour I didn’t like at all, and did not suit me (I was very upset with my previous hair stylists colour she put in my hair, nothing to do with Doria Salon at all, I had it done elsewhere), so I went to Doria Salon in hopes to change it, but I felt as though I had nothing I could do with my hair due to it being so fragile!Stephenie was so comforting, she went over everything of what we could do with it, all the options.So I decided to go with purple!The second appointment I came back in, Stephenie was punctual, and ready to work on my hair! She did such an amazing job correcting everything that went wrong with my last hair stylist, made it the PERFECT purple, and in the meantime was so funny, and SO comforting. I loved her so much and look forward to getting my hair done with her again!!As for the salon environment, I also loved it. Everyone was so nice, and it wasn’t too loud or hectic at all. I have severe anxiety, so the open space made me feel comforted (and not like the walls are closing in on me).Thank you Stephenie!! (You saved me!!) <3

I recently went to this salon for a haircut and hair color. Hiba did my hair, she is an expert in balayage and have tons of work experience. I loved the fact that she recommended hair colors and styles that would suit me and the end results were beyond my expectations. If you like experimenting with your hair then just go with her recommendations and you’ll be amazed with the results. I would like to mention that their hair services are costly compare to other salons but your money will be worth it.

Went here for all my hair cuts and I loved the work, but then I went to get my hair toner from blonde to brown (simple task), but they turned my naturally dark brown hair ORANGE and PINK. It was very clear it was not brown and once I went back to them they look confused acting like they can't see any pink, after a long conversation they said they will tone it into richer brown. Fast forward 1-2 months my hair is pink AGAIN, since toner washes out, keep in mind I have NEVER been any colour other then blonde, they refuse to tone my hair if I don't pay which is insane because if I never went to them to begin with my hair would never wash out into a pink colour. They are rude, like to gas light the problem, and I DO NOT recommend.. unless you like getting pink hair rather then brown. they completely ruined my hair health and I had to go get it fixed with colour correction which is a expensive fix, least they could have done was reimbursed me for a problem they made. This has been a favorite place to visit for years. Very nice atmosphere. Staff are friendly. Special thanks to Sarah, the nail tech, who always does a fabulous job, and Stephanie at the front desk for her friendly and professional customer service.

After a free consultation a few weeks ago with Stephenie, the day of my appointment finally arrived. I was nervous and excited as it had been years since updating my color and style. Also, since I was a first time client at Doria, there was an element of risk working with someone new. I knew Stephenie and I were on the same page during the consult and I developed confidence in her expertise and easy willingness and patience to hear my styling needs. The actual appointment was better than expected. Stephanie created the effect I was looking for and I have gotten great feedback from friends and family. Looking forward to working with her again!
