awesome service, was super helpful with getting me sorted out with a fish loss(unfortunately it happens to the best), would recommend to any of my island friends:) also gorgeous african cichlids, i’ve had some from there for over the last year and they are all thriving and loving life!!

I started getting a bad vibe from this store the second I set my foot in the door, but I needed a buddy for my comet fish that had been lonely for too long, and couldn’t get to Mr. Pets.The first thing you notice is an unpleasant humid stench. Unlike the humid smell/feel you would get going into Butterfly Gardens or an aquarium.Assuming you don’t turn around instantly you then see an untidy, ,over crowded and unkept store front which continues throughout.The guy that helped with my fish was not very warm or friendly. Pushing me along like I didn’t matter I did not feel like a valued customer as a result.Comets are feeder fish and mine, I felt was over priced at $5. Slightly older and bigger than the young ones, but over priced.Not going back.

Staff are knowledgeable, and actually care about the reptiles in their care. Great experience compared to most pet shops. enthusiastic and passionate advice from the owner. Location is older, and a little cluttered, but this does not matter nearly as much as healthy animals and informative advice.

Starting coming here for all my pet/hobby needs! I got 4 hermits (Constantine, Kepler, Apollo and Polaris) from you guys and I love them so much (my children)! Everyone is extremely knowledgeable and know their stuff! I have yet to meet the legendary hermit crab lady though (she’s only there weekends ive heard, one day I’ll catch her). I’m still learning a lot and I appreciate how much everyone cares about the animals! Love you guys ❤️

Wife and I went in when their wasn't anybody in the store I asked the cashier for help as the other two workers were talking in the rear of the store, when the nice cashier helped out she was yelled at for not watching the cashier but these two coworkers one being a manager was so rude. Yelled at her in the store then proceeded to come back all happy and ask how she can help at that point we left and not coming back. Treat your workers with respect..

Great store, good knowledgeable staff. Good selection. Only complaint is that sometimes the listed prices don't match up with what I'm charged at the till. Will still keep going there because of all the pluses.

Much more notable bad odour in comparison to the other pet stores I’ve visited in Victoria, visual cleanliness isn’t much better. Walked around 30 minutes without help or acknowledgment from staff. Finally found a free staff member who acted rudely as if she was inconvenienced by taking a second to assist me, was unwilling to place an order for a sold out animal listen on their website, and were extremely unhelpful in offering any alternatives.

A colorful store overall and a refreshing alternative to the box stores. This unfortunately also includes employees with an attitude and overall an untidy appearance with lots of dirt, spider webs etc. I tried to return a bunch of feeder crickets today (120 count for $22.50) that all died the same day we purchased them. The shop attendee initially denied any ability to return them. When inspecting the shelves where they are kept, 20+ containers all had dead crickets in them. So clearly not our fault. Eventually, after the attendees had to consult with the manger, and an exchange was offered, but no refund. I was told that the substrate that they put in the containers was wrong and dehydrated and killed all the crickets. Go some fresh" crickets in empty containers

My trip today was better than I was expecting. I knew that I would need to talk to the staff which I’ve heard so poorly about, especially the fish guy. But he was quite nice. The reason my rating is so low is that reptile enclosures are so small and so bland. I don’t see how a healthy animal could come out of that, and it was just dirty. The whole place was disgusting, from the enclosures to the floor.

Creatures Pet Store is more than a pet store, they care about animals they will take surrendered pets and do thier best to rehome them.We have always been more than satisfied with the care they have shown for our cocktail for boarding.
