Decided to try this salon out because of the great reviews, however, I had THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Came here two weeks ago before my birthday to get a regular manicure. The lady doing my nails was so careless and it seemed like she was more focused talking to her coworkers than actually pay attention to her work (my manicure), as she was trimming my cuticle, she gauged the skin around my cuticle. She tried to stop the bleeding but when it didn't stop she was blaming me and asking why the blood wouldn't stop making it seem like it was my fault my nails were bleeding.............. Also to mention, she did such a poor job applying the nail polish, I could have done better. Would not recommend and would not return to his salon.

Tried Angel Nails & Skin Care for the first time for a shellac polish change because of the good reviews and decent prices. The staff are very friendly and welcoming for first-timers. Wide selection of colours, and I was in and out in 20 mins! Will definitely be going back regularly... my nails look perfect.

Sadly, both Helen and Debbie have left the salon. It's now under new ownership. The quality of the nail service is definitely different. I had booked Sandy for both my pedicure and fill, but she only did my pedicure and Joanne did my fill. My fill was okay, but its not the quality that I am used to with Debbie. I think Joanne will improve once she does more clients. I'm so sad that Helen sold the business and that Debbie left because this salon is so close to my house.Debbie if you read this, please look me up on Facebook (Karen O) so that we can keep in touch.,--------This salon is well maintained and very clean. I love the professionalism presented by the ladies at this salon. They are all very personable and kind. I have my nails done by Debbie. Debbie is amazing. My nails always look perfect when she is done.

The place was rather dirty and looked worn out. I am still wondering if instruments were properly disinfected. I did sheilac on hands and pedicure. Pedicure was relatively ok but sheilac was bad - my nails got glued to the skin below by it and the girl left a lot of space between the color and the skin on the finger - looks like my nails are grown out... and it looks sooo bumpy... I will have to redo it...

I'm thoroughly impressed with the work Helen did on my nails. I went in for a fill, and to try and 'save' shoddy work done at a different nail salon. Helen completely redid my nails, and the final result is stunning. I have to say they turned out better than they have at any other place I have been to over the years. Helen was extremely accommodating, very friendly, and conscientious about what she was doing. Definitely a client for life!! I would recommend this place to anybody and everybody!

I’ve been to various nail salons in Ajax and Pickering and I’ve been so unhappy and overcharged every time. Especially from hot nails. I came back to angel nails and since then they have been so nice and welcoming. Not too mention they do an amazing job with my nails and feet. I always book with Debbie. She’s such a sweet heart and I always love my nails when she’s done. Picture perfect and she takes her time and is very meticulous. Book with her, even the rest of the team. You won’t be disappointed!

My first time at angel nails as I was in the mood to try somewhere new within Pickering. Clean salon and friendly greeting from Helen. I did not have to wait and it seemed like they were good with making sure appointments did not have to wait (from what I noticed while having my nails done). Fast service and lots of colour choices for the polish. There must have been an issue with the UV drying unit that was used for my schellac nails and so the shellac dried strange. I noticed this after leaving the salon. When I called them to tell them about what I had noticed... they were VERY understanding and told me to come in so it could be fixed. They are going to ensure the unit is replaced so it doesn't happen again. VERY HAPPY WITH OVERALL EXPERIENCE and I WILL BE BACK :) Thank you!

If you want quality work done with above and beyond customer service, this is THE place to be. I have been coming to Angel Nails for a bit over 2 months now, and Helen is absolutely FANTASTIC! I have been getting my nails done for almost a decade and Helen is the best nail technician I have EVER come across! The quality of work is outstanding.... Every question I have had, or opinion in what colour would look best, has always been 100% perfect and my nails come out looking absolutely stunning! I am not the easiest customer when it comes to getting my nails done, as I am very particular in making sure the shape and length are even, and Helen executes both of my needs perfectly. The wide variety of colours and different techniques that they provide is simply amazing. The salon is clean, light and so inviting, along with the helpful and friendly staff! Angel Nails goes beyond your expectations and you will leave the salon truly satisfied!

While at the end of my appointment my nails did look nice, it was not a fun process. The staff clearly did not care about me as a customer. She was very aggressive with the nail file and cut me in three different places, without even an apology. The shellac did not hold up and peeled that same day. The website also has not been updated and the prices are inaccurate, they've been updated (increased) by hand on a sign at the salon. It's also not the cleanest salon I have ever been too. I won't be going back.

I came here for the first time over the weekend upon reading some great reviews. I initially came here because they offered a good deal on chrome nails.We made an appointment about an hour before on the Friday before a long weekend.The salon is small but the staff are friendly, there's usually only 3 employees working at once, so sometimes you might have to wait a little longer than you initially thought. They were even nice enough to keep the salon open a little passed closing to accommodate us.The pricing was good, and the selection of gel colours was amazing!The selection for regular polish was a bit limited.I also liked that they had a TV playing episodes of FRIENDS episodes instead of the normal CP24 on mute you see at all the other salons.Overall I think I would come back for another visit because they staff were friendly, the price was good and the gel polish selection was great!Pricing :- $15 for Regular Manicure- $25 for Shellac Manicure- $5 for 2 fingers chrome- $10 for 10 fingers chrome- $28 for Pedicure- $30 for Regular Mani + Pedi- $60 for Shellac Mani + Pedi- $45 for Shellac hands + Regular Pedicure + $10 for chrome
