I was very impressed with one of your employees. His first name is Trevor, maybe in his 50's. He went out of his way to help and was patient and very knowledgeable. Great person to have on staff!!!

Big, clean, organized store with some of the slowest, most uncaring staff imaginable. (Some staff are great.)I had a consultation booked, but ignored. When I finally got to speak to sales reps that forgot about our appointment, they had low product knowledge and showed zero concern about having skipped out on our meeting.Off to Home Depot...!

Picked out flooring and the employees in that department are great!I'll update after I get my cabinets, bathroom vanity, and countertops.So far I'm impressed.

It was the night of the hurricane and there was nothing to be found at any of the other big retail stores as far as camping supplies etc. I was coming all the way from South shore and ended up at this Kent's and I'm glad I stopped in. The attendant was very nice and helped me to sort everything out even though she was behind the desk a customer service and not one of the people on the floor. She checked and double checked everything for me, even if she wasn't sure which is something that other stores. I've been told that they just don't have it because obviously they don't want to check. But she did the necessary work to make sure that the customer satisfied. I got what I needed and headed home. Satisfied that we had enough to ride out the hurricane.One more thing on leaving the store while paying for the goods. Some receipts fell out of my pocket and one of the attendants who was tidying up actually came over to let me know. Even though it was a receipt, it was actually very important and I appreciate them going above and beyond to help.

We always enjoy going to the KENT hardware store.We usually find what we are looking for here. The advice is good and the shop is well laid out so that you can find your way around easily.

Don't really have too many complaints about this Kent location. The only thing you have to watch out for is not to use curbside pickup and always verify your purchase before driving off.So many times I would park out front in curbside pickup and call in and I would be told someone would be out with my order shortly. On multiple occasions I would sit there and be morbidly curious how long they would keep me waiting. Sadly at least two times I sat there from 7:30pm-8:50pm. Naturally the store closes at 9pm so I went in and spoke to customer service and they were shocked I had waited so long. I don't know why, I had to speak to a person every time I called and asked about my curbside pickup order. I don't know if it's due to being understaffed or what but I stopped using it.The second issue is if you do an online order, just to save yourself the hassle. Do not just take off with your order without verifying everything, you'll just end up wasting gas coming back. Most of the time I find out I've been given the wrong items. One time I ordered ceramic tiles and there were enough in stock. I got to my car and checked every box. Turned out they had sold me their singles box and 15 tiles were missing. As the old saying goes, trust but verify.Outside of those two issues, they usually fill your online order fast and usually have the items in stock you are looking for. I've never felt that I've been treated badly at this location, it just suffers from too many mistakes made when filling orders.

This hardware chain has everything for your home renovation and construction needs. They have fantastic garden center to keep you busy in the winter when you are waiting to start working on your garden in the spring.Very helpful and polite staff.
